I was trist, our whole team got wrecked pretty badly, and finished 3-6. I wasn't toxic, and it wasn't like I was doing the worst, yet at end of game screen someone says "report trist for locking in adc while beingg bronze 5." lolwut? I didnt lock in adc, I asked for it and it wasn't taken (you an check), and I'm not bronze 5...

Some people just look for a reason that they lost that suits their ego, and as it happens, blaming themselves for not doing well doesn't really go well with what their ego is saying.

So whomever was doing worst, or made a slight mistake, or even did anything remotely out of the norm gets blamed. Hell you can get blamed for picking Syndra because "she only has a 47% winrate"
