Which champions will never be picked or banned at worlds this year ?

Hey guys just a fun post to make some predictions about worlds this year.

What champions doctor think will NEVER be seen at worlds this year? Keep in mind other regions and Korea might come out with some wacky champions or synergies.

I think that these champs will never get picked this year At words: etc

yeh plus Kindred can save your whole team.

However kindred is in the gutter atm, if teams needed a invincibility they would probably pick Kayle over Kindred tbh.

But thats true, she gets rekt earlygame.... we'll seee though i'm hopefuly for at least 1 team to pick her

she is weak where she cant monopolize her support in orginized play she will be popular where she is safe can stack damage and rip it and rip save her support or use them as initiation and or cc

yeh, some support picked annie as a flash stun bot pre rework. She might not get picked now, hmmm.

I heard the announcers talking about aurelion being picked once as a counter or something.

Kassadin is getting his yearly smoke and mirrors buff. Won't actually be good but it will fool the LCS players into picking him.

according to surrender@20 Kassadin Null Sphere (Q) damage increased to 65/95/125/155/185 from 70/95/120/145/170 Force Pulse (E) mana cost lowered to 60/65/70/75/80 from 80 at all ranks

Last year it was the ap scaling on his ult.

i dont think so, Corki is in a bad spot right now after changes to triforce. they tried buffing the ap ratio on his ult because tri no longer gives ap. there are too many other adcs that scale better with items and have better power spikes and different things that help team comps. Sivir is always picked in pro play due to her aoe damage, wave clear and ult for team fights. not that she can 1 vs 1 other adcs. when it comes to Taric there are just other supports that can do what he does and do it better: Braum Alistar Thresh when these champs are not picked or banned why would you pick Taric

Very good points but I'm not convinced about Tariq . I'm sure he will show up at worlds, he's got a lvl 1 aoe stun, and full team invulnerability. I'm sure , I'm almost positive that he will show up for sure for at least a single game

yea he has a lvl 1 stun but its too easy to coordinate against and make him useless. his heal isnt very good, his passive for armor buff isnt enough to make worth while pro teams are two balanced with their damage. and his ult you can bait out or counter play after words. huge burst makes his ult useless cuz it has a 2 second delay, if enemy team gets their burst off and champs melt his ult cant save them til its too late.

Kassadin is a very weak champ early . in pro play he is either gonna get camped and ganked from lvl 2 to til he gets his ult, which will put him so far behind and to keep that from happening his jungler will have to babysit him and basicly play a 2 vs 1 lane mid til gets his items is about lvl 8-9ish. if your having to commit all that effort into a single lane what is gonna happen with objectives, lane control, lane swaps, turrets, ect. your mid laner will most likely be Ahri Akali Azir Ekko Karma Leblanc Orianna Viktor Vladimir Zed Zilean

i dont see where would get play, he is too easy to play against in coordinated play. dodge his ult, silence him, or cc him and he does nothing in fights. he is ok in solo queue pl Malphite cuz lack of coordination. i still disagree with Corki i think the adcs that will be picked are more so Ashe Caitlyn Ezreal Jhin Kalista Lucian Sivir Varus mid more so as a counter pick.

When i put Corki , i meant in the midlane. I can't remember the last time i saw a Corki adc.

i think you will see a Varus mid before you see Corki . Varus has longer range, aoe cc ult and an aoe slow and scales well with item 3042

I think A-Sol, Corki, Illaoi, Janna, J4, Jayce, MF, Taliyah Taric, Trist and Twitch have pretty good chances of seeing play. Most of these champs have seen at least a bit of play in Korea over the last couple of weeks.

Trundle will be picked he does good right now vs meta top laners. he can tank, make tanks useless, has engage/disengage and can split push. Trundle will be picked

Does it really count if it's by a bottom tier team? Who cares what they're doing; bottom tier teams don't make it to worlds, and that's what we're talking about. All I know is, no top teams give a shit about Yasuo and I have not seen a single Yasuo pick or ban in NA or EU LCS this split.

Longzhu's mid-low tier, they're capable of taking surprise wins off of far higher ranked teams as well. Teams in the LCK also tend to feed off of each other. It's now known that Yasou is a valid counterpick to Gnar, do you think SKT, Rox, Samsung and KT will just ignore that? All of their top laners are going to be scrimming this matchup every chance they get, if it turns out Longzhu was onto something you'll start seeing Yasou be picked into Gnar a lot. Smeb will play it at some point as well, because it's a champ that's perfectly in-line with his champ pool.

As for NA and EU ignoring, it Jin Air and Longzhu are better teams than the top teams in both of these regions. The LCK is a super competitive league right now, the middle and even the bottom of the table are pressuring the top of the table teams, including SKT in the majority of matches they play. The difference between a bottom and top of the table team (excluding CJ) is about the same as the difference between TSM and CLG/Liquid. The 7th, 8th and 9th place teams in the LCK aren't like Echo Fox, they're strong teams who can, on their day and with a bit of luck, down a team like Rox or SKT.

Kalista will get picked, she's a bit niche now but not bad in pro play. Amumu and Noct may get picked but there's also a fair chance they won't. There's also some chance that every pro forgets how to play against Eve again, that seems to happen about once a year. Past that I'd agree with all the others.

Past your list I'd say , Chogath , Annie , Diana , Fiddlesticks , Garen , Heimerdinger , Karthus , Katarina , Lux , Mordekaiser , Nasus , Nunu , Riven , Shaco , Shyvana , Talon , Teemo , Tryndamere , Urgot , Veigar , Velkoz , , Volibear , Warwick , MonkeyKing , Zac and Ziggs all have negligible chances to see play short of extreme buffs to their kits or meta changes. Or at least a Korean team searching for "Tahm Kench" too late into champ select.

Aatrox Barely viable .... just there for few who likes him Evelynn Too risky for mediocre reward Mordekaiser No cc meele mage ..... in a league of dash :/ Teemo Pure cancer ... easely shutted at high level of play Urgot Provvide nothing to the team Yorick Easy to shut in lane ... no utility endgame
