Riot's reasoning on Zac skins.

So we all know that Zac hasn't has a skin since release because riot claims that his model is too difficult to work with and whatnot. My question is, why did you guys go through with Zac if ya'll knew this? You mean to tell me that, when you guys were working on this champ NOBODY had the balls to point out the negatives of going through with this champ? Now we have all these disappointed Zac fans because of Riot's poor decisions making. He's an underplayed champ, with a 1% pick rate(lol), has a ridiculously horrible health resource mechanic and will probably not receive any updates to his kit anytime soon.

Well they said the same thing about Jinx too. I do not blame them however. They brought a really cool animation mechanic to the game and a very cool champion. As far as skins go there is a lot they could do, but the problem with animations is one thing, but also the problem of keeping the identity of the champion with the skins. They want to make sure the skins they make for him still scream "This is a really cool Blob dude" but the problem is a lot of those skins just end up being recolored skins with a few minor changes. They want to make the skins worth our money since the quality of skins have drastically increased over the years.

its really an overused excuse if you ask me. they have stated this for many champions in the past like Udyr, Rumble, Evelynn, and now newer champions like ZAC and Jinx. they knew what they were doing when they were making these champions and since this has been going on for so long this really has no merits anymore. if its too difficult then either dont make champs that difficult anymore, or redo them to make it easier because nowadays its just empty words!

Its also the fact that they also claim that they dont really have designs for said skins which i along with the community has known that a lot of the community makes wonderful skins for various champions that usually goes unnoticed! and thats sad. because these people work hard on these skins and its basically for nothing! Now i understand with copyright, but i mean original ideas going towards nothing.

Then there are just simple recolors. i dont get why they dont do more of this. yes its just simple recolors, but its at least something. something to hold us down till the next (usually better) skin comes out. its just so simple either change the color, or do something small yet different between the default skin. it really shouldnt take that long to make any skin like that especially for a "difficult skin to make for champions"!

They have so many options and yet dont ever seem to take it. if they did we would have see a lot more skins nowadays, at least a lot of community skin ideas which i would be all for. Nut sadly in this day and age things like this are just too rare to see a company actually take the the community seriously!
