It would help when its very long and you have to do something real quick and you don't want the computer or laptop to go to sleep and stop the load because it has always done that to me.

Not seeing how they relate. If you're afraid of your computer going into sleep mode, wiggle the mouse before you get up to do whatever you're doing - just bought yourself another 20 minutes.
you do know that you can chose if your computer sleeps or not, right? there's this thing called "power options". My computer never sleeps. The power consumption is negligible. I turn my monitors off by button press. way to annoying to have a computer in sleep mode just cause you went to make a sammich...
WTF are all this talks here, this guys defending something that should never be done. Ofc client should have a pause it is so irritating like that, having it is what almost all games have and is obviously needed. It is just plain shit that they dont put it in.
