Am I the asshole everyone talks about?

everyday we all run into afk's / ragers / toxic douchebags... So the one game where everyone is "normal" i expect for everyone to do decent and if not decent, not bad. But when people play dumb and play like they've never seen a tower or a fed vayne / riven... That's where i get upset, because you know you should either build defensive, sustain, or save your gold till you can buy a big item like BF and not get t2 boots instead.

My problem with this game is playing with people. I hate to say it, but people generally have a tendency to let me down, I for one think highly of everyone in my mmr so i want to hope that everyone is at a good level of play in order to well in the game, and when i join the game and our Yi jungle is calling everyone '%%% noobs' its hard to ignore that kind of dickheadedness, and the only way to deal with it is ignore / absorb it and move on, but i still have to play THAT GAME WITH THAT YI, so how do i deal with HIS attitude at the time?

What do we do in order to win that game? What do we do when we have people who forget they're playing LoL on our team? What do we do when people feed 1-8 and then say "im afking"

What is our required responses to AFK's, Rage quitters, and Int. Feeders?

Am i still the asshole? Maybe but, I'm only an asshole on league, and thats MY problem with THIS game.

Dude don't get brainwashed like everyone else in this game is.. Riot and the community wants you to think your an asshole.. In truth it's human nature, everyone gets pissed off, just some people find other ways to deal with other than saying things in game. Riot and the community are so hell bent on attacking and punishing the people calling these feeders, afks etc out on their shit while the feeders afkers and idiots sololy slip by and do it to other people.

So in all honesty I don't think your an asshole, I think you take the game serious and are competitive and when you get people who don't play it to win and aren't competitive it's going to bother you. It's human nature.. my advice would be is just dsiable chat in game.cfg or mute everyone from the start and listen to music. If you are playing ranked don't worry about it, if you as good as you think you are you will move up and those idiots will stay where they are at.

I was and am 100% in your position a few months ago I recieved a 2 week ban for toxicity due to these same circumstances. But I have realised that at the end of the day Riot does not care about feeding trolls. I guess I see this as 2 things. #1 the trolls and feeders are truly hurting themselfs. They will drop elo very quickly and end up in that elo hell that everyone claims exists. #2 yes they hurt you for that game but you being the great player and confident player you are will quickly climb back from that one loss. I am not the best player, I am silver 1 and I have been there for 3 seasons. My toxicity comes from the fact that no matter how hard I try and all the effort I put in, Gold is something that to this day eludes me. I have been to my gold promos and have failed them and now at least I know that I am good enough to be in silver 1 this is an imporvement from last season when I ended silver 3 or 4. Now I can confidently climb from anywhere in silver and stay in silver one. I know that when the time comes and I finally hit that next level be it my awareness or my map presence or whatever it is that I'm doing wrong and is holding me back from reaching gold. I will finally make it to the place I want to be.

I do wish however that silver one would get the victorious skin because after trying so hard for so long. You are litterally getting the silver medal even tho you are litterally a pebble throw away from gold. And that's where most of my toxicity comes from. Because I have yet to reach that one goal I have set for myself.

But take it from me its not worth it I have since stopped saying anything bad to anyone who makes mistakes even when we outright lose the game because of it for a few reasons. #1 players here are the literal definition of insanity, Players who are bad no matter what elo their in do what is the definition of insanity. They will do the same thing they know has failed them over and over and they will expect a different outcome. #2 Your only hurting yourself at the end of the day Riot could care less that toxic scrub A costed you your gold promos. What they do care is that you tell toxic scrub A to go fk themself. #3 if you get matched up against said scrub A you can just kill him and laugh and dance all over his dead body :D #4 concentrate on yourself and what you could have done better ( I KNOW EVERYONE SAYS THIS ) but its litterally true. Could you have farmed more ? taken an objective if you had split push ? Gotten dragon control more ? ETC ETC. #5 improve your csing if you lane (THIS HAS HUGE IMPACTS) my mid lane has improved significantly over just understanding when and where I should be farming. I said several but I guess these are all the ones I can think of hope this helps you.

People make mistakes, everyone screws up once in a while, it seems that u get upset when u see ur team make a mistake. I think u should be more understanding, I'm sure u make just as much mistakes as ur team, that's why ur the same rank as them. To me, u seem to be the "ass hole" people refer to.

I think league might be so frustrating is because of how it's semi stat based, if you're behind then you can't play the game the way you want too, you gotta play conservatively since you are now weaker then your opponent, as opposed to competitive shooters/fighters where the only thing limiting your play is the score indirectly (wanna play safer when it's last kill wins or something)

Bad player syndrome is when players don't fully comprehend this semi stat law, they could 2v1 before when they were fed, so they can TOTALLY do it when you're 1/4/1, it seems like common sense but it can be hard to grasp for people, sometimes

League is do frustrating because you got to respect the power the star advantage gives, and even if you're doing fine, that bad player Feeds another lane and you got to play safe (the un fun way) because of him.

That's what I think makes league more frustrating then other competitive games

Let me clarify, I play all sorts of games, ranging from league to CS and from CS to guildwars2, and path of exile. But the point is that I don't get nearly as upset whilst playing those games! Why is League of legends to frustrating to play? Its not just me, I've got a whole lot of friends and people i know that just can't handle league anymore, and you'd think you run into the "bad player syndrome" in every game you go to, but you really don't. Its much less apparent in other games that people suck at the game they're playing.

Its hard for me to keep my mouth shut when people on my team don't stop running into 1v2's and dying over and over again! "like bro, you're 1-6 take a step back and buy some armor and hp, that riven does a bit of damage now!" Or when people don't ward and then blame the jungler for not ganking as much as the other jungler ganks... "HES GANKING YOU BECAUSE YOU DON'T WARD BRO!"

I guess the first part to dealing with it is accepting that its gonna happen nearly every game. Blame riot for having such good match making skills... there always seems to b 1 in a game to make it a somewhat even game.

I suppose if you get mad playing then dont play, just like everyone else out there. Maybe you are the one everyone talks about, who knows, everyone has bad games but thats all part of the improving process, what makes it harder tho is when ppl flame when it does happen. 95% of people who play ranked dont plan on feeding, and when they do they are prolly already so frusterated with themselves that it clouds their vision to make even more mistakes. All that added up the persons teammates hating on him/her definitely doesnt help.

Positive feed back in games and hearing "its ok bro, dont sweat it you got this" is more what people need to hear in ranked not "you F%#%ing sack of %#%^ you F^$&ing %#56 $#%^4^@ 6 23 5%"
