Can we please stop having a game with this meta bull?

I want to play a game, not a competition.

I want to be allowed to play mid without anyone saying it was a poor choice.

Story goes, we have a decent team. on top. in jungle. Me mid. as ADC. as support. It was very decent. We get into game and the next thing I know is has a bad lag and isn't doing well. The enemy team was just like us. was top. in jungle. in mid. as ADC. as support. So it was almost even. I then start losing to because of his tanky passive, lucky, I had so I would have my W ready if need be but he was still able to get me. was fairing well with , but bot wasn't doing too hot as I'd just said so as soon as I got my ultimate, and after they somehow got , I slowed and they got her too. But, I was then out of mana and my spell was on cool down, I asked for help from in the jungle and waited but he didn't come until was on top of me. We pushed him off a little and left, though I wonder why his ultimate was either down or he didn't use it. But, soon I died again. I did poor for the rest of the game. The other team was beating us. And then Vlad said, "Don't ever gp mid again." When I was going against another off meta champ in mid! A tank which can counter a fighter. By the end of the game, I had not once used the R for myself but for my teammates, every time. It was a honest reason why was able to push so hard. was somehow losing to . Bot lost their lane. I had lost my tower first, and we could never get 1 of their towers. For some reason, didn't realize that I was using my R purely to help my team rather than myself so that if I couldn't push, at least they might.

I may had went out of the meta to choose in mid lane but I believe that I was a huge help to me team when I could be and I think mid is possible under the right circumstances.

Please allow people to try new things, and yes, please tell them what you would do if you were to do it yourself, and please go and help every now and then to make sure they are alright. League would be more fun if people started trying to do things the creators thought impossible; like being played.
