When school is out there is no safe time to play League. I used to be able to play either late at night or early in the morning but now I feel as though I can't play at all in any game mode.
When children are out of school it seems the number of trolls, ragers, and stupid people grows to impossible numbers. It seems like every single match has at least one of those players in it and it fucking sucks.

Too many times I have had people end up support, and didn't have any champs. Or they did and had no idea how to play support.
If Riot had requirements, that would all change. Bronze wouldn't be troll town.

I don't like being on the other end. It is an unearned win and it fucking sucks seeing people try to win and one asshole seemingly intentionally making sure they don't. It is a waste of time for everyone involved.

i mean i dont either. i play this game to enjoy and get better at, playing with people who dont at least try is bad because not all your games will be like that, and it doesnt help you improve. But im sure some people like it some times because im sure they were on the other end and want a win!

By no means am I saying that so-called school kids are mature, on the contrary, they are still very much learning how they are and what is appropriate and what isn't. But this is IRL, and online is a completely different story. Due to the fact that there only exists an online text chat on LoL, many people lose the association they hold with themselves and behind to act quite differently online, as has been found not only by researchers, but also by Riots behavior team, more specifically elaborated upon by Lyte when discussing about the possibility of an in game voice chat. This means that while there probably are a great deal of school kids playing this game, the stereotype that the OP lists and reinforces throughout their post and this thread is purely that, a stereotype. There is no data provided, and just because, in the OP's experience, that games are generally more "toxic", could easily be due to a number of reasons, including the placebo effect, general increase of alcohol consumption in the summer, and more people taking time off work, which, mind you would not be school kids. So while some of these people probably are school kids, what irritated me the most about the OP is the fact that there is no clear concession, and that the entirety of the post is based on one clearly stated stereotype which can not be proven to apply to a large portion of online gaming communities with no voice chat. Just because something is the case in one game, does not mean that it is the case everywhere, as conditions range from game to game. So, examples which people have used such of CoD, which is a vastly different in the experience from LoL simply do not apply in extent to which is assumed. Each game has its own "gaming culture", and people adapt to it in different ways. This does not necessarily mean that they belong to a certain subset of the human population.
Tl;Dr: My comment seems to be kissing people off, so I just wanted to tell y'all that correlation doesn't always mean causation. My comment was not well thought out, so what was listed above in the edit is more along the lines of what I wanted to say.

Black people are no more gangster than any other race. That image is just handed to us by the media and integrated into our culture. Kids of all races and cultures have their own ways of trying to look tough.

Sorry but, it was pretty obvious when people started getting out of school, and the end of may, start of june is the norm.
It has gotten very noticeably worse in my ranked games, not only in terms of trolls and feeders, but the amount of trash talk and salt that ends up leading to feeding and trolling.
When you hear hooves, think horse, not Zebra, and in the case, it is the horse. This isn't a new thing, and I've been around the game long enough to notice it as an obvious trend when summer hits. You are pretty much rolling the dice to even play ranked, and you have to hope you can somehow scrape to where your goal was after the summer break, because playing during summer is damn near pointless.

They (including me) are mostly on post 6-PM during the school year and that's most likely the case for working adults too, even in the summer. This really is only a problem for no-life neckbeards who do nothing but play this game all day, so I see why people on Boards complain about it so much.
Report and move on. If you go into every game expecting perfection you're gonna damn well be disappointed. The more they rage the faster they get banned. If they get banned they will know that their behavior is unacceptable, and (this was my case) improve their behavior/afk'ing/whatever.
