There is no safe time to play in the summer

When school is out there is no safe time to play League. I used to be able to play either late at night or early in the morning but now I feel as though I can't play at all in any game mode.

When children are out of school it seems the number of trolls, ragers, and stupid people grows to impossible numbers. It seems like every single match has at least one of those players in it and it fucking sucks.

while im not saying it isn't more common with teens, it really isn't much different than with adults. stupid people grow up too.

Yes, gentlemen, the times of peace are over. It has come again, as it always does. The time of heat, caused by both the burning sun and the burning hate. But we shall not sit and disappear into the darkness of decaying LP, we will stand and fight against the tide of flamers and trolls. We will do what is necessary, may it be muting, ignoring, reporting. We shall climb, no matter how much pain we suffer. FOR WE ARE ONE! WE ARE STRONG!

WE!

ARE!

SOLOQUEUE!

I agree with you 100%. The flood gates have been opened, or will be opening soon. This is why I wish Riot had a qualification process for Ranked. Requires X amount of games won, and must have X amount of champs for the roles that you may be end up playing.

Too many times I have had people end up support, and didn't have any champs. Or they did and had no idea how to play support.

If Riot had requirements, that would all change. Bronze wouldn't be troll town.

Honestly, I really don't think teenagers do most of the flaming. To me it seems kind its more of the 25 year olds still living with their parents kind of group.

Also I haven't experienced an more toxicity than usually sooooo.... maybe your all just imagining it?

either play a different game, or try and play with friends. it is kinda fun though when you are on the other end. had a couple of games where the enemy teams was just All Chatting all game blaming everyone, calling us noobs for beating them! its funny! but i feel sorry for people who have these kids on their team, its annoying, and not really fun!

Mostly high schoolers play league. You should be fine.

While I agree that young people tend to rage/ feed/troll more often, there are many adults who do the same things.I'll give myself as an example. I am 15 and i never got chat restricted or banned( been playing since June last year).

You know what for once I'm going to stand up for kids. Kids aren't the only ones raging. Sure they may be a portion of the ragers, but kids are not the main supply of ragers. For me the portion of toxic players does not increase while playing during the summer. You have to realize that you can't blame everything on kids.

honestly, real life is just like high school except the kids are just older looking and often have positions of power or influence over you which they throw around.

take summer time as a challenge to learn temperament control and improve your personal mechanics.

I rarely see any difference from summer to the school year. They (including me) are mostly on post 6-PM during the school year and that's most likely the case for working adults too, even in the summer. This really is only a problem for no-life neckbeards who do nothing but play this game all day, so I see why people on Boards complain about it so much.

Report and move on. If you go into every game expecting perfection you're gonna damn well be disappointed. The more they rage the faster they get banned. If they get banned they will know that their behavior is unacceptable, and (this was my case) improve their behavior/afk'ing/whatever.

I like how you're downvoting anyone that disagrees with you.

It's possible to find adults that act more immature than the kids you want to throw insults at. Age has very little to do with it.

The game has a "13 and up" label attached to it. Do you think it would get better if the threshold was increased to something like 16-18?

In your opinion, what is the worst age interval in terms of quality of players (I am referring strictly to behavior, not skill level). So, which age category is responsible for the most trolls/ragers/people with mental problems playing LoL?

There are always complete idiots everyday of the week. I'm 16 and I feel like everyone is younger than me every game maturity wise, yes I sometimes play at 2 am eastern time. People can't seem to understand that raging will only make things worse, all I do is be the silent guy and stay chill even if we are losing.

You'd be surprised how many adults act like said children throughout all ELOs.

can confirm, 6 of my last 15 games 4v5 for my side. I know it's super unlucky that it's not enemy 4v5 but still made me quit playing for a bit. Also got an AD malphite, an AD nidalee and a jungle poppy all which were pretty much 4v6 xD
