More accounts are being created everyday, which leaves people with less options when choosing their summoner's name. Since this game is global why do we have to stick to English letters only?
I personally would like my summoner's name to be written in Arabic letters.
I see plenty of name using non-ASCII characters. The issue is they are impossible to type and cause a good deal of problems with external websites, friend requests (impossible) ect.
Because we want to actually be able to type people's names.
what is adding "69/420/xX---Xx" to what you have not GOOD enough for you!?!?!?
Why not just use the system Blizzard uses and do the 5 digits after the ign?
If you don't have the language packs for these languages installed they'll just display as [][][] either way - and forcing your players to download a language pack for all these random languages is kind of stupid
It's unfair for the common language to be English, but it's normal for international affairs to be dealt in a single common language.
I think the is more of a keyboard problem than a Rito problem.

They are actually moving in the opposite direction, they just removed all those Russian letters from EUW which means that we only have half of what we had before. Apparantly they have some technical issues and don't plan on reverting those changes.
