Wouldn't you just want the qss? I don't play Kata very much, but I didn't think she scaled off damage at all. The extra 2300 gold could go toward your abyssal scepter or something!

You only go abys route if you pick up haunting early otherwise it's very weak to do item. Kat scales both sides and I was able to auto attack her a lot in trades early on. Ap scales better but if you're able to autoattack on trades then it is worth the extra gold. Plus that movespeed helps a lot.

She scales off physical damage as well on her W and her R. It works well enough but the liss was clearly bad. She only needs the ult to stop Kat's ult. Otherwise, she should be winning all other trades. Kat's ult can still be stopped even if she has QSS or Merc scim.

A good kat will never burn ultimate openly when people can stop it. Qss got me out of her w and rammus taunt.

doesn't matter. She should win in an extended fight because her cd is low for her Q.
