It's not a story the Boards will tell you. It's a high elo legend.

Dr. Sona X Rubick was a Darius ADC player. He was so powerful and so wise that he could use his favorite champion and influence the kappaclorians to create... a new meta.

He had such a knowledge of bullying laners that he could even keep the ones he cared about, from losing. The dark side of the meta is a pathway to many winrates that some would consider unnatural. He became so powerful... the only thing he was afraid of was losing his lane, which eventually, of course, he did.

Unfortunately, he taught a Lulu main everything he knew, then his apprentice bullied him out of lane in her sleep. Ironic, he could save others from losing, but not himself.

In all fairness I would like to say that most of Mini Gnar's stat check problems emerge entirely from Frozen Mallet, not from his kit. Without FM, you can actually dodge Gnar's Q and outplay him.

Jinx has 3 delayed skillshots to dodge the only thing 'stat check' about her is that she has stats. Even her AAs require decision making. If your primary damage being AAs = stat check then Jhin is as well. Sounds like you yourself need an anti-salt dragon.

As for Gnar I hate him but he is nothing like Yi, Udyr or Garen style stat checking.

Vi I play so I will refrain from commenting at risk of showing the kind of bias you do.

she never uses any of that, you can even watch jinx in LCK played by Deft Jinx in teamfight only uses AA, W and R cut due to cast times her DPS and E is only used if they dive you

it's rare that a jhin AA you to death, it's possible of course just like darius right clicking you to death But most of the time he needs his Q to kill you in lane by killing minions with it and increasing damage and W of course

he has way more stat than them and actually i was wrong about gnar he isn't stat-checking as he needs his Q 95% of the time

if in a duel she needed a full charged Q to win it, instead of charging it for 0.1 sec knocking you+applying a W stack, then i wouldn't have called her stat-checking

Why are you 'dueling' Jinx? She as an ADC dps champion. Unless you are a melee fighter, assassin, burst mage or skirmisher that can blow a DPS adc up you will lose to them. Their job is to DPS. Unless you are another DPS then of course it is whomever DPS best. The problem with real stat checks is they either are tanky enough to not get blown up or have a way to negate that counterplay. Such as Garen and Yi respectively.

A team fight against Jinx is decided by your ability to blow her up past her tank, support and other team mates. If you cannot do that her team played better than yours. That is no different than any other squishy DPS.

Most of Jhin's damage is his AAs. So if Jinx is stat check so is he. Just because it is slower but bigger hits doesn't change that they are both right click targeted damage.

id jhin in teamfight attacks wrong targets or can't attack targets that are squishy or low hp he's going to be fucked up compared to a normal hypercarry because of 2.6 sec reload time

that's not stat-checking, if you manage to play around jhin's fixed 4 bullets you can easily turn this into your favor even if he has more stats

The reload mechanic for Jhin does get compensated through his inflated bonus AD scaling and the fact that his AAs hurt like howitzer shells. He's like the only Marksman who manages to get AD so high through 2 items that it resembles Assassin's gameplay more than Marksman's.

Not hating on Jhin but just putting him into proper perspective. Jinx needs a lot more to start hurting through a few AAs but Jhin does not as he is inherently stronger with less AAs and can engage from a lot longer range. Jinx lacks that kind of safety so with her, it's all or nothing.
