In all fairness I would like to say that most of Mini Gnar's stat check problems emerge entirely from Frozen Mallet, not from his kit. Without FM, you can actually dodge Gnar's Q and outplay him.
"Stat check"
Jinx has 3 delayed skillshots to dodge the only thing 'stat check' about her is that she has stats. Even her AAs require decision making. If your primary damage being AAs = stat check then Jhin is as well. Sounds like you yourself need an anti-salt dragon.
As for Gnar I hate him but he is nothing like Yi, Udyr or Garen style stat checking.
Vi I play so I will refrain from commenting at risk of showing the kind of bias you do.
