I'm in the back of my mother's minivan, with my four companions, Matt, Ethan, Andrew, and Lebrone. We have been in the van for four hours, listening to the modern pop, music kids are so fond of. We review our strategies, talking intensely about mechanics and such. Bans were the most competitive conversation, because every champion is so GOD DAMN OP.

We arrive at the Motel. Big day is tomorrow. First game, against Team Solo Feed. They're team is a big challenge for us, as they almost have a 1:1 kda average. They usually have a blitzcrank sup, who hits a grab for every ten, a major threat to our team. There adc is an Ezreal main, who has mastered the "q" combo (pressing q, waiting 3 seconds, pressing q, ect). The Jungler only knows how to play master yi, but we don't ban him because master Yi is barely broken. All of them have atleast 50 Lp in Bronze 5, they wouldn't be on the team otherwise. TSF Has some crazy high standards

In the End, though, I know we can win. Our adc has played adc atleast 5 times, and can get a minion for every 4. Our support is the best riven we know. And the rest of the team doesn't matter.

Tomorrow, we shall be victorious. We are...

Something I'd like to point out really quickly is that I'm not much of a Ranked player as of now, and I'm certainly not going to play ranked with this Dynamic-que bit they've got going on, But I'll get to the point now.

The way I got out of bronze was something I didn't quite understand at the time, I just thought Riven support was a viable option, and in some cases it is, but I'll break down how exactly I got out of bronze using Riven support.

First thing's first, I always told my Top lane to pick a counter for something that counters Riven, or told them to pick Riven & I'd pick a top lane for them, after seeing what the enemy top lane would pick, this was an effective way to aid my top lane in to easy counter picks as a solo player, another thing that aided me in lane phase was as a support Riven I played quite differently to a usual support, I actually played it like I would a Leona against an Allister today, I'd wait for the enemy to go in on my adc while I quickly went in and attacked, and often killed the enemy adc effectively making it a 1v2 fight, the biggest and one of the better things about Riven support is her lack of mana and ability to dodge skill shots, baiting out skill shots from Morg, Blitz, Thresh or Lux as examples, then fighting when they're lower on mana.

But the main reason it was effective is- No one below Silver really knows how to fight a decently skilled Riven as an adc or support in lane phase, and they're not expecting you to play in the manner I described, with the piles of gold you'll earn you & your adc off of easy kills from a confused enemy, you should be able to make a lead, and if you fallow through with it, win the game.

Once you get to Silver, you'll have to change supports though, as enemies will be more attuned to learning your play style and actively look for weak spots in it.

For marksmen that Riven support has Synergy with, I'd say Jinx, Jhin and Ashe are good matches, since if Riven starts a fight with the enemy bot lane, she can stun / knock up long enough for her adc to land some snares or stuns.

Some supports are really, really weak to Riven support, Lux, Sona and Morg are some examples, they're really weak to your mobility and high physical damage, your shield will also soak up poke and allow you to avoid skill-shots.

Some supports like Blizt, Malphite and Thresh or Leona can be moderate match-ups, but remember it's more so a player-skill vs player-skill fight in a situation against these champions.

For marksmen that you should -NOT- pick Riven support against, I'd say Vayne or Ezreal, Graves may also prove to be a problem.

Some enemy supports will wreck a Riven support! keep that in mind, Raka and Allister prove to be a pain In the neck, To a lesser degree Kench will be an issue, but if you play smart, you can sit that bad-boy on the Bench!

I'm not sure if you wanted advice on Riven in general, Riven as a support, or how to escape Bronze, but if you play it carefully and stay focused on the game at hand, playing with determination, you'll do fine in ranked.

However, I'm not one to talk, since I won't even play it with this Dynamicly-silly-que!

It would have a lot more chaos, excitement, deaths, fights, and plenty of people failing to summoner 4 . Basically a bigger clown fiesta than the current NA LCS. Would watch for sure though. [slayer-pantheon-popcorn]

If I were Riot, I would have a Bronze League Heroes invitational! Ten random Bronze players (who've demonstrated sportsmanlike conduct) would be flown out to an arena to compete against each other and win prizes. And I'd have them headline for the LCS.

I don't see why Riot wouldn't implement periodic tournaments for players of ALL ELOS with rewards at the end

matchmake with a team of random 5s at your MMR, stick with that team through each bracket. IP/RP/keys/random skin/random champ/random ward/ blue ess/ orange ess at the end? sounds decent, its been done before. Namely in Konami's Metal Gear Online 2
