Levik3 votesThis is a problem with support itemization because supports get so little gold. Cheap items have to be lackluster, otherwise roles with more gold income will be required to purchase them. Until a system is in place that keeps low income items out of the hands of high income roles, support items will always be terrible.

RookPusher2 votesThe items are great, but I feel like supports should do more than help champs. They should have options for larger, defensive builds for your base.
We need items that let them rebuild towers, or plant traps, or deny objectives to the enemy. I love the new items, but it's a bit myopic.

One of my favorite things about Janna is that I can shield the tower. Which means I can hold the tower for the crucial seconds it takes for someone to show up and push back. It's lovely.
