Luckily I am sitting right at the elo where my ADC dies to ganks because they don't react in time so I get to farm until they get back and when inhibs are down no one else wants to stay and clear the waves, so I get free farm.

In all honesty though with support item costs I find myself to be the 3rd person at full build usually.

Its odd, no matter what support i pcik, usually have same build. Gold income, SS, Lovket,Redemption, cdr boots, and zzrot

I have been steering away from support a bit lately due to all the bot lane shenanigans but my builds actually differ a lot. May have something to do with me rushing an IBG on Taric and always starting spellthiefs on Alistar, but my builds tend to be pretty different for the first few items. I tend to round everything out with the same few items and Locket is pretty common as a 2-3 item in most of my support builds, but other than that I actually feel like there is a lot of diversity in support items right now.

I take 20% cdr runes, 5% from masteries, and item 3301 start for that sweet lv 1 30% cdr. Just don't fight anyone since you have 0 base stats. Luckily even if you get pushed off of the wave the coin still gets you some gold and you have a lot of health sustain. Actually pretty funny since junglers never go top so you are never risking much.
