To be fair, lots of champs can "solo" Baron if only they have someone to tank Baron's damage for them. Shyvana comes to mind. I get a 20 minute Baron pretty much every game with her because I just call over any decently tanky person on my team and have them tank Baron for me so I can kill it. They don't need to do any damage, they just need to keep the Baron debuff off me.
