There are people i've seen spell out nerd as "nurd" so much that I honestly can't tell if they realize it's incorrect

What happens if they are not a native english speaker? That doesn't necessarily make them stupid. There are also ALOT more important things in life that making sure you get a comma in the right spot. Being the person who nitpicks other people grammar in a casual setting(such as league of legend) are the people who i start to question their integrity.

Personally, I think education's not a sign of intelligence at all. More a sign of wealth and effective parenting, tbh. 'SPlenty of asshats out there with a degree that don't use what they've "learned".

My personal definition of education is being able to fucking distinguish between then and than, they're and their, you're and your. My personal definition of education is not having to invest almost a decade of my life learning English, only to be called a grammar nazi by angsty american teenagers who can't freaking speak their mother language.

Salt aside, I didn't mean education in the context of "being knowledgeable at something", more as in "having a respectable amount of capacity to utilize your own language's vocabulary".

Proper education is up to a certain degree, a sign of an individual's inteligence= Being able to properly express yourself, is up to a point. a sign of you being a smart person.

Proper grammar is not indicative of intelligence. Why u dumb dumbs think it is, especially in a world of text messaging short hand, is very confusing to me.
