Let's see. Camille nerfs... Darius nerfs... Yasuo nerfs (but not the ones they want)... Well, Caitlyn is left untouched, that could be a thing... Oho! Warwick rework! Now this is just splendid! Did you know Warwicks new Q makes him immune to Crowd-Control during the dash? Did you know he follows dashing/blinking targets with it? Gameplay will love it!

Darius, a champion who should be thriving as an anti-tank and has an average winrate, didn't even need nerfs. I could understand the passive nerf if they buffed it mid-late, but the Q damage? The heck.

Making champions scale with skill is terrible balance design. Azir and Kalista are prime examples with it.

Not really. Azirs and Kalistas problem was that they were too dependent on skill.

Actually, Kalista's problem was that a good one invalidated. . .

Melee champs
skillshots
junglers (rending epics for 1/3 their max health and dropping ghost patrols all over the damn place)
Move speed buffs and slows

3 of those are caused by her passive and is why she's not allowed to be strong anymore.

Azir had a similar problem. Before getting trapped in the batting cages, a good Azir did everything (except physical damage). There was no reason to play other mages so long as you were good with him.

So the issue isn't so much about skill floor/ceiling, it's that the champions were simply too overbearing when played well.
