Gnar Rage games. ALL OF THEM. Nami Probably any RPG that allows her to just waste time fishing for days (Torchlight II). Sona Guitar Hero and Rock Band. She literally cannot lose if she's on the strings. Quinn Hunting sims/RPGs with hunting (Skyrim). Aatrox Dynasty Warriors, Bloodborne ("So much blood!" - Bloodcyka, Dota 2), and God of War.

Speaking of, I'm playing through Alpha Sapphire with Mudkip as my starter. It still hurts how easy the Generation 6 stories are to beat, even without grinding and proper EV Training. I've beaten Omega Ruby twice (once with Treeko and once with Torchic) and both times, I only dropped a Pokemon in battle twice, both times being the squishy-as-hell Cosplay Pikachu you get (it's a glass cannon, but it offers some coverage with the different moves the outfits give, like Icicle Crash).

I know what you mean, I remember gen 1 spending hours trying to beat Sabrina with ghost pokemon (thanks Pokemon cartoon -__-) after spending hours trying to get past that Team Rocket tower area where ~~Douchebag~~ your rival just happens to be hanging out and after spending hours trying to figure out how to get past the guard at the stupid gate that you had to give lemonade to. I got Omega Ruby and haven't lost once. I only have trouble when the enemy spam heals or has a confusion ability. Plus if i get stuck... well... internet. I do feel like there is more of an epic story now though compared to the old games, which is definitely a plus.

X and Y's stories COULD have been epic...If the villain (cough Lysandre) didn't make himself seen coming from a mile away. The MOMENT you meet him, he goes on some batshit tyrant about "purifying the world" or something (I tuned out on this part cause it was soooooo cliche) and basically tells you "hey, I'm the villain, but I can't officially reveal it until after the 7th gym badge huehuehuehuehue".

Also, the enemy A.I. in ORAS: if it uses a confusion move (Swagger/Hypnosis/Confuse Ray), I SWEAR that shit has a 100% chance to do self-damage. So frustrating, but easy to beat: Switch out.
