I take it as a learning experience personally. I note what they did, ask them how they did it and generally if their not a total A-hole they'll explain how and why what they did worked.

first became FOTM. I never laned vs another Viktor because only I played him. Then I had to learn to lane vs him and then I learned how to stomp him

I remember one time, I was going Rek'Sai top (my main, 50K mastery bitches), and I, for the first time, faced up against a Rek'Sai top. The problem was, it was the mirror lane curse. We were approximately equally matched, with me honestly taking the lead early (against a guy with 100K mastery in Rek'Sai, and literally only plays her). Then their jungler ganked. I left laning 0/5/0 because of that. I feel behind and they were always and item up on me from there, losing me everything.
