It's still good to protect your allies from cowardly runaway from that Anivia's ult. Make it Damacian way.

Jarvan should give a movement speed buff to allies trapped in his ult.
The buff should be called "Jarvan is helping."
When the soraka rework hit, it seemed like her E inside the crater would make it more inescapable. Ill let you guess how that turned out.
tbf when it's good it is a bit amazing. Ori R + j4 R + any burst AoE is terrifying. Plus, if you j4 R first and then Ori R, you can yoink people who flashed out right back in if you time it right. It's rare and takes a lot of coordination, but it's so evil and fun.
Even when people can dash through it, you can time CDs and either force them to burn them early (I'm sure they don't need that Flash in a couple minutes When Heca ganks anyways >:D ) or wait until they're burned and keep them in for a few seconds until CDs are up. There's a handful of champs that it's not useful against in general (
), but for the most part it's at minimum a zone control ability with strong potential for plays off of smart timing and forcing fights/abilities/flashes. So yes, it's escapable, but at the end of the day the potential for foes to escape is itself a tool in your favor to some extent.
The fact that Vayne can tumble out of it is pretty lame. Unless this was changed and I didn't notice.

I heard he was supposed to be good in assassin metas, but his playrate is kinda low.
I don't think it should be truly impassable, but blocking dashes would be nice already
There was a post the once said that the inside of it should apply grounded I still don't understand WHY people upvoted that considering it would become impossible to escape
