I don't really like Poppy support. Guess I should try it but I'm not sure what to max.

Max as normal. Ban Zyra. Dive with reckless abandon, preferably from the bushes. Remember that sometimes your ult and your ADC's ult may not work well together (it becomes much harder to Cait ult somebody when they go untargetable) but you can knock the other support out of the way. If you die and it's your own fault, just put "/all DIVEMACIA!" in the chat.

I think I've gone Glory In Death's route that I find taking tanks support is more fun and more effective than taking them top. No really, Poppy and Sion seem to work better as supports than top laners despite always laning against a marksman.

What brand of fish do I need to slap sense into you?

I kinda understand it, but unless you snowball the lane with your carry you get really behind in money and can't get your items (like my precious sunfire).

No, no, no. The ADC takes the farm, you take the kills. That's how unconventional supports work. ~~kappa~~

And, come late game, you can snatch minions whenever you feel like it because it doesn't matter.
