Morelo's Sexy Riposte

Morelo said he wanted something sexy for Fiora's Riposte... well here you go.

Basically my take on Fiora is that for a character that should be all about skill and counter plays... she doesn't really out play anything. Her only really clever thing is her Riposte, her ults start up time is long enough to be killed after using it but before the first hit, and her Q aside from closing gaps is weak.

Upon a successful parry Fiora gains a “pas de touche” stack, max 5. (“pas de touche” means “no touch/did not touch/do not touch” and is called in fencing when a strike that was thought to have hit did not.) She can then spend amounts of these stacks to empower/change her other skills.

The counter play will be that if she has any “pas de touche” stacks, using a Riposte will cost 1 stack and, if successful, grant 2 stacks. This way, Fiora must risk a stack to increase her stacks and opponents may bait her into wasting a stack then simply not attack. Counter play is fun.

All of her skills would have to have damage numbers tweaked so that some power was shifted into the “pas de touche” version to balance her and make the stacks matter.

That being said here are some fun ideas for what the stacks could be used for.

--“Balestra”-Lunge-Lunge

Q: Fiora dashes forward to strike her target, dealing physical damage. Fiora can perform the dash a second time within a couple seconds at no mana cost.

At the cost of 1 “pas de touche” stack, Fiora can active her Q when not targeting an enemy to perform a Ballestra(a fencing leap) in any direction. This deals no damage and does not put her Q on cool down and can be used at any point before her first or second Q, however Ballestra can not be used while Q is on cooldown.

-- Riposte-“Coup de Grace”

W: Fiora's Attack Damage is increased. When activated, Fiora parries the next basic attack and reflects magic damage back to the attacker. Works against champions, large monsters and large minions. If Fiora has any “pas de touche” stacks, activating Riposte consumes 1 stack and a successful parry grants 2, otherwise a successful parry grants only 1 stack.

At the cost of 4 “pas de touche” stacks, Fiora can activate her W again while it is on cool down to preform a “Coup de grace”, stabbing an attacking opponents with her dagger to mercifully end their suffering. Fiora deals damage equal to a % of the attackers damage and a % of Fiora bonus attack damage that scales upward to a cap with the attackers missing health. If successful Fiora is granted 1 “pas de touche” stack.

--Burst of Speed- “Take Flight”

E: Fiora temporarily gains additional Attack Speed. Each basic attack or Lunge she lands during this time increases her Movement Speed. Killing a champion refreshes the cooldown on Burst of Speed.

**At the cost of 2 “pas de touche” stacks, while Burst of Speed is active she may recast it to discard the attack speed boost in exchanged for a greatly increased move speed that last half duration as the attack speed buff that was discarded. (Basically a very short run the hell away skill, that she must trade her biggest AD steroid to get.) **

--Blade Watlz

R: Fiora dashes around the battlefield to deal physical damage to enemy champions. Successive strikes against the same target deal less damage.

Blade Watlz will slow targets hit for 1 second by a percent based on how many “pas de touche” stacks Fiora has. (I don't like to give numbers... but a fair amount would be like 3% per stack. So that at max stacks a raw ult would slow the targets hit by 15%... which isn't that massive.

Anyway those are some of my ideas... I'd love to hear some of yours.

I like it, but it sounds too complex to pull off, and it isn't that reliable as not all champions she goes up against will be auto-attackers. She'll gain them quickly when dueling marksmen, and melee carries, but none against others which worries me. To have a whole system that isn't 100% reliable seems counter intuitive, although it would fit her playstyle.
