A solution to Gangplank's Passive
I don't know what exactly is being done with Gangplank's rework but I would like to throw in my idea on Gangplank's passive.
Right now, Gangplank is in a weird spot and won't be buffed due to his permaslow which can be abused. I offer to changing the passive to be similar to Statikk Shiv's passive:
New Passive: Gangplank gains stacks by moving and attacking(bonus if critically striking). At full stacks, Gangplank's next Parrrley or basic attack against an enemy champion or large monster will slow and deal damage over time for 3 seconds.<
What this would do is:
- It will allow opponents to not feel discouraged from engaging Gangplank if he manages to gain a slight advantage
- To be able to improve DoT damage to give players a better feeling when poking
- Make Parrrley have more impact when chasing enemies beyond the laning phase
- More reward for building critical strike chance
With this change, it can give some room for changes particularly in his Gold gain, high sustain, Raise Morale, and Ultimate.
Note: Also, touching on Gangplank's rework, I suggest changing his:
- Gold Gain to be a natural passive that is doubled when Gp kills a unit with Parrrley
- Oranges to have lower sustain
- Raise Morale to a new ability or On-hit + Attack speed active(with Grievous wound)
- Cannon Barrage to be a DoT field similar to Miss Fortune's Make it Rain
