Does Fiora really need a 50% attack speed slow on her Riposte(W)?

I can deal with non-hit 3sec Qs. I can deal with CC and damage absorption. But I can't deal with the attack speed slow that's on her Riposte. It gives Fiora way too much trading power for a champion that is already slippery, has a ultimate that grants potential hp % true damage/heal, and under a decent player can negate CCs and high damage abilities. And if you think I'm making this up then just look at the other champions in the game that have attack speed slows:

Anivia - 20% attack speed slow Malphite - 30-50% attack speed slow Nasus - 35-75% attack speed slow Nunu - 25% attack speed slow

Notice how all these champions are immobile with the exception of Malphite who has to blow his ultimate to escape(and becomes immobile for the next two minutes). This is in comparison to a champion who gets 20-50% movement speed with each vital hit and a possible 4.4 cd dash that can be reduced even further if it hits an enemy.

It's hard to dodge Riposte since after Q Fiora immediately follows up with Bladework(E) that slows you by 40%. Also early game, when you're trying to get an advantage, at most you will only have Tier 1 boots and Tier 2 boots by the end of the laning phase(in which the game can be decided thereafter). So the only option is to trade back but you can't because a 50% attack slow negates a lot of trading ability if you are AA based and you got 1-2 or your abilities lost.

I could possibly see myself believing in this but the thing is, I'm not playing normals where most people playing Fiora don't even know how to effectively play her and are playing for fun, not seriously. You effectively lose 1v1's that could have been avoided if it wasn't for the AS slow. I shouldn't be forced to get my jungler to 2v1 a competent Fiora player just for picking the champion.

I would but DrMundo Graves TahmKench Rengar Zed Soraka Kindred still top the bans in solo queue and I have to prioritize banning Graves because solo queue players still haven't realized how powerful he can be with item 3142 +item 3072 .

TL;DR: Fiora is currently too strong with the attack speed slow and leaves little options to trade/duel her early/mid game using an AD champion when against a competent player.

Does she really need a low CD dash with a reset, a MS buff, a slow, all to let her proc her passive easily which is essentially on somebody 4/5 of the time even if you're procing them? She was given this mini-game to challenge her, but its not a challenge to abuse it. Its trivial. You can all-in easily because of it, and if you can't all-in the champion because of it, you get very significant poke with almost no possible retaliation from the large majority of the cast.

Completing her R is supposed to be difficult, but its practically guaranteed if you aren't stupid about it.

At the very least her passive should have a much longer CD and only begin AFTER the last one goes away, whether its via procing or the enemy laner waiting it out. There's no answer to her for so many different champions right now.

Yes she needs it, perhaps the amount can be lowered slightly but she does need it. Without it she has no chance of fighting a champs like tryndamere or other duelist-y champions. Besides, its a narrow skill shot its really not that hard to dodge, you just need to actually try doing that instead of complaining. like, the thing is Nasus's AS slow is point and click, Anivia's is a giant AOE, Nunu's is point and click, and Malphite's is another AOE, Fiora's only hits one person and its a narrow shot that doesnt even fire immediately, you have nearly a second to dodge it, it even gives the box of where its going. The actual changes Riot needs to do is to lower her base damages but increase her scalings, that way she cant build tank and do retarded damage.

She's a melee adc. If you take away her trading power. You take away her viability.

Fiora has attack speed slow cause she is duelist. LOL
