About the Kha'Zix/Kassadin nerfs

Yeah, they were needed, not disagreeing there.

But c'mon, no compensation, at all? Kass had changes on the PBE for awhile, but I didn't htink you guys would ship outright nerfs without the rework to his W.

At least in the case of Kassadin it was relatively minor damage nerfs since the majority won't matter till lategame (silence nerf sucked but, again, needed).

But Kha'zix? Really?

Dropping bonus damage by half on monsters I get, early dragon kills were pretty damn strong.

But the nerf to missing health damage on evolved claws? Minor, yeah, but still, you guys MADE a champion who's whole deal is "3 of your abilities are good and one is mediocre". No reason to evolve W anymore, so why is Q getting hit?

And, again, I totally understand his all-in needed nerfed in early levels. Totally understand that.

So why did you knock off a whole .6 off his leap? That's a LOT of damage you guys just took away. Why not split the nerf between his bases in the earlygame and the ratio? Oh, right. Cuz it's base damage is pretty crappy already.

Why not put some of that power back into the evolved form of his wings at least? So far, W was gutted to the point of you getting laughed out of the game if you evolve it (still waiting to hear what's going to be done with that btw), This is the first real nerf to Q so it's hard to complain there, but E just got a lot taken from it. His ultimate got a buff, and I'm not ungrateful, I'm just saying it hardly compares.

Even with all this, I'd understand but you guys took out the bonus move speed buff that was on the PBE for evolving his ultimate. Maybe if evolving W actually did something again...

Not to mention, the nerf to spirit stone and the massive nerf to mobile boots hurt him HARD in the jungle...

I get these assassins needed nerfed because they were doing their job, but c'mon. Give us *something *here. I've been tracking the PBE changes for these two and was happy to see their power was getting shifted around, but this isn't shifting, this is just taking. What's the deal?

On the Kassadin nerfs, if you look at the top of the patch notes they mentioned these nerfs are "band-aid fixes" for Kass and Grag so they don't remain at an unhealthy power level until their respective small reworks come out.

On the Kha nerfs, the leap damage nerf was large yes, but in my experience there are actually only a few times my leap damage hits a champion instead of using it for mobility. I do agree the Q nerf was good chunk of potential taken away from jungle Kha, and it will take some working around, but do keep in mind they buffed the everliving balls out of his ult. Ignoring unit collision and doubling the stealth duration if evolved? Keep in mind the damage reduction for evolved form is also doubled because of this. I'm excited to try it out, along with the tear change, with laning Kha, as in my eyes he has been buffed a lot with this.

Every time there's "Band-aid" fixes that have minor reworks, the reworks always take way.. way too long to actually come out, and usually end up underwhelming.

As for Kha'zix, his laning might have gotten a slight buff through his ultimate, but it was at the expense of WAY too much of his jungling, his primary spot.

As for landing his E, please don't take offense at this because that's not it's intent, but "good" or "practiced" or whatever is the nicest term Kha'zix players reliably land it, because it was such a boost in his burst. Now that they took out so much of his damage, there's almost no reward to landing it anymore. Maybe if it slowed or something it'd make total sense, but at the moment it's pointless to land on top of someone now.

it's not quite THAT bad, but yeah. Too much damage lost for an already low-burst assassin.

He's an ASSASSIN, not a brawler. Really wish Riot would stop trying to remove the class from the game every time it does it's damn job.

it IS that bad, you have to pray that they dont do crits and kill you, hell it barely even drop the health bar WITH the isolation bonus, wtf riot

Sorry to say it, but mid Kha'Zix is supposed to be a gimmick. He doesn't have the kit for it without abusing fringe-cases of OPness.

Back when evolved W was good, yeah he was a solid mid laner. But the new trend of taking him mid is making him a problem, which results in his entire champion getting a nerf rather than the things that make him strong in mid.

Frankly, I'd rather he be the shittiest mid in the whole game than to take away his identity as a hunting predator darting through the jungle.

Mid doesn't fit the character.

One thing to keep in mind with the E: It is a resetting move. Meaning, the damage he does with it raised through the roof once the resets came in...

Riot is always doing the same mistake when it comes to TUNE DOWN CERTAIN CHAMPIONS(not sure if intentionally or just because their balance team is consisting of blatant ignorants, really)

Whenever we mentioned that Gragas needs to be hit hard (and i even opened a thread here, but as usual, no red post) and they said they aren't doing this anymore. Instead they are lowering champions power by small amount so that they will find balance by decreasing number untill they decide that it is balanced and not need to be nerfed anymore.

That's what they did to Gragas. But what is up with kha'zix? If i remember correctly, Gragas could kill an ADC, mid lane carry and support at the same time only with Q R combo, and also chunks other team members pretty high. And he also has his body slam with no cooldown and still a strong gap closer-disengage.

And Gragas can still kill both ADC, mid laner and support at the same time with full combo at ease.

But Kha'zix can do the same? No. He capitalizes on enemies mistakes. But how hard could it be to full combo with Gragas? Did you even look at his Q and R radius? You cannot fuck up Gragas combo unless you are mentally challenged or level 10 newbie.

Gragas doesn't even need to catch his enemies low hp unlike Kha'zix. He already 100-0s every single carry in this motherfucker without worries. What the hell man?

Nerf Gragas a bit, because we didn't want him to be trash tier and want him to be keep played in both competitive and solo queue and still faceroll. But we nerfed Kha'zix pretty hard and changes his playstyle by adding moar and moar stealth (which is called toxic by Riot many times) and give him ignore unit collision. Also we didn't want his W to be an alternative, this ability is shtty now with these changes it will become moar shtty because WE ARE RIOT! We like variety and flexibility. So we truly support end encourage players out there who are willing to evolce Kha'zix' W over other abilities. Because if you are that stupid enough, then you are a perfect candidate to support us blatantly, cover our asses on social media and other platforms even if we do terrible mistakes. Because we are Riot. And we need fools like you to purchase RP so we can keep working on this motherf.cker and you know, which american doesn't like money? (MONAY MONAY MONAY MOAR MONAY! $$$) Because we are discriminative sons of rims and we don't care what our community wants from us. We only care about how much more money we can make.

And no, i am not only mad because they nerfed my favorite champion. I said the same things at Skarner incident.

Riot is losing this game, and no way in hell can anyone convince me into believing otherwise. I defended Riot and supported their events and also supported their game by buying RP. And they treat us like retard spoiled kids (keep talking about Amsterdam and big servers)

I no longer support Riots actions anymore. Unless they change their balance philosophy or their balance team. Because i am tired to adapt patch notes every time because pro players abuse certain champions and we are forced to witness our favorite champions becoming trash tier. How the hell am i suppose to adapt these changes that fast? I am just a normal gamer jesus fuckin christ!

I cannot enjoy this game anymore, mainly because Riots balance team is doing some disgusting works and they ignore playerbase. I don't like Riot as a whole anymore actually.

It's better to get back to single player RPGs and Asian MMOs. Only MOBA i enjoyed is getting destroyed for the sake of competitive scene becoming more dynamic. fuck competitive scene man! They only play 20-25 champions same sh*t every game after game. Among 118 champions, only 20-25 gets to see plays...Nice balance truly outrageous.

I don't understand why everyone is complaining that Kha'Zix got brought in line power wise with other champions? Kassadin, Kha'Zix, and LeBlanc all basically have the ability to delete one enemy from the field of justice with almost no risk at all.

Imagine this, enemy team Kassadin just jumps in and deletes your ADC at the start of the team fight (or what could have been one, but you just lost your damage). Now Kassadin simply flashes away leaving the rest of the team to clean up the wreckage, and someone likely got silenced as well while he was on his way out. Now the enemy ADC is rampaging all over your team and the ACE is pretty much guaranteed at this point. Game over, just game over.
