In your opinion: Which is the hardest role to play?

Refer to the title.

Now, with the changing meta, I think that the difficulty of roles has changed, and I'm not saying that any one role is significantly more difficult than another role- each role has it's difficulties and requires a certain set of skills, however in your opinion which is the hardest role for you and why?

For me, right now the hardest role for me is jungling. If I fail to have a successful gank, I have difficulty making a come back, the same goes for being counter jungled, and playing as weak early game junglers. If I fall behind, I rarely catch up. That's why I try to play really strong early game junglers, such as j4, or maokai. Although I'm trying to improve my skills at playing a carry jungle.

So what are your thoughts? What's your most difficult role to play?

as a side note feel free to offer some tips to somebody if you experienced the same issue at one point or another, or just know a solution around it, it will help the community greatly :)

Bot lane is the most difficult, because you have to trust whoever is laning with you to be in sync with what your trying to do.

Counter jungle teemo is by far the hardest role to play.

I tried all lanes with a lot of champs and imo the most difficult role is top lane and the most responsible is jungler. Also the balance between tankiness of jungler and top laner is very important, which many average players seems to forget at champion selection. Bot lane is easy, but you MUST trust the player you play with and you must be certain of your own actions together. I usually play as support and I met less then 10 people, who I can trust with my spawned life, that they carry hard, when I'll grant them opportunietes for it. If one of the botlaners doesn't know, what to do, then it gets to extremely hard to win lane. Mid lane difficulty is between a jungler and top lane, especially that in mid lane you rely on burst damage - one mistake can get you killed. I also find this lane easier than top lane, because in mid you can mostly act from distance, where at top u mostly fight in close distance, which is difficult for me. Also the balance between type of damage dealt by mid and top should be considered by every player in champion selection, which less experienced players might forget. When mid takes AD casters like Zed or Talon, top lane should pick AP toplaner like Ryze or Rumble to make enemies more vulnerable to different types of damage.

Assassin, they have to kills the adc's in team fights before their killed and then get out if they can. This takes quite a bit of skill. Everyone else seems to just be talking about lane but mid can be either assassin role or mage in my opinion. And both don't do the same thing in team fights.

I personally don't do very well as tanks, as diving into the enemies hoping to distract damage away from the carries doesn't really fit my playstyle.

Support and Jungle call the shots, if adc, top and/or mid is engaging all the time on their own/in grps of 2 and still getting killed, they are in the wrong. Dont let anyone other than jungle and support tell you when to engage, those ppl that constantly dive on 4 ppl are just kill-hungry and arent focusing on the main objectives of the game.

It all depends on whether you have friends or not. Solo que? adc or supp, communication is needed and you don't have it with solo. Duo? Mid-lane more than likely, because most other lanes sync well with each other. Full team? Jungle hands down, it's your job to tip the balance, or at least stop the bleeding if lanes are going badly. No matter what role your in the result of the game rests at the very least partially on your shoulders but there are a lot of factors that can make your life easier or harder when you have a role to play.

All that being said, a non-stealth assassin is haaaaaaaaard.

Jungle. By far. There's just too much shit to pay attention to. I mean sure anyone can go out and farm some camps and gank a lane or two, but those people aren't junglers, theyre just in the jungle. The difference between a decent jungler/every other lane and a great jungler lies in a combination of requirements regarding mechanical skill, meta knowledge, individual champion familiarity, game flow awareness, and map awareness, on TOP of the general "lane requirements" of the job (like pathing, warding, and buff management.) Much like <S4 supports (my main role) junglers play a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT GAME than everyone else, and it is much MUCH more complicated. Nothx.

To the great junglers of the world: I salute you.
