Just wanted to mention that so far I have no complaints other than the fact that it is a little hard to find my old posts on your new beta. I think it is a HUGE step up from the current forums which honestly is just a cluster of information that moves almost too fast to obtain it. Wonderful job, and keep it up!

We do not want Reddit - we have been over this the last time you tried to do this. Why is it that you want to do what you guys like when you should be asking the community what they want? Why not do a poll and see if we want Reddit or vBulletin?
LilYonsan1 votesLet's be honest, the original forum layout is a mess. You post a topic and within a couple of minutes it goes to page two or three and is never replied to unless you bump it. It's very difficult to find your own topics, or whether anything of note has happened in the topics that you post. Honestly I think this beta is a huge step up for Riot, and I'm glad to see them working on other aspects of their community other than just their video game.
As a side note to carrot: sorry it's taken me so long to respond! As irony would have it, I had discovered that feature right after I had posted it. Perhaps something like a small tutorial or something to describe the different layout might help new people in the forums a bit? Also, something that I'm particularly missing that I really wish would come about is a way to send messages from one summoner to the next. There are a lot of people on the forums that might like to post something that could either be responded to in private, or would like to colaborate on a project together. I, personally think the amount of usefulness of adding a small messaging system on your website would be a great thing for many different players. If anything, that is my only complaint, that there is really no new ways to communicate with other players other than a new layout.
