Lore Based Team

**I posted this on GD, thought I'd post it here too :) Apologies for the dismal formatting though...still trying to figure it out >.<

So I always enjoy piecing together teams based on their affiliations. Maybe someday we can have viable teams for all the alliances and have epic battles ^.^ For now, some teams look really good!

Here comes the mega list. Those in brackets are either iffy in association, is mainly associated with another but often allies, is unaffiliated or is pure speculation. I also put them according to role just for the sake of seeing a complete team, but obviously some can be flexible or go non-meta (it's also probably affected by my personal bias >.<):

Cassiopeia should not be associated with the Shurima Desert. She is Katarina's sister and a member of Noxus that happened to fall victim to a cursed sword given to her from her father. So she is Noxus to the bones ;D

but if you go to her champion page they listed her for Shurima now. so possible lore change in the future.

Thanks! As nosafterburn says, her page says she's associated with Shurima. While I agree she should be Noxus now and forever, it would be cool if she was double associated with two factions. I suspect they will expand upon Shurima's lore soon.

For demacia, basically everyone with a commando skin already fits into the lore, which is why I love that skin set.

Yeah it's an awesome skin line! ^.^ I just wish there was a ranged ADC with the skin...then you could have a really good team! I feel like Demacia has the most flexible lineup of champs out of all the factions though.

These battles would be awesome. Especially if Riot released more Freljord champs so we could have the 3 seperate factions to fight against each other on a Freljord themed map(maybe ARAM or a normal 5v5 map). Great job though!

I just sorted everybody according to traditional roles. There's room for flexibility. :)

Sivir, as a point of her lore, stopped working for Noxus before she joined the League so I'm not sure if she's really appropriate to be on the Noxus team.

Yeah, if they are bracketed, they are most likely questionable. I was considering bracketed champs like Riven as well. Sivir is a mercenary at least and if the gold is right, and the situation not too sticky, I think she would participate. She also was an option for the "Noxus vs. Ionia" Event a while back.

As BlindEye says, the Twisted Treeline got ret-conned to be in the Shadow Isles. He is bracketed for this reason (meaning, he's not like super confirmed)

Oh, and Blitzcrank came from Zaun, not Piltover.

Correct. I'm really on the fence about if Blitzcrank should be with Zaun or not. His lore says he left Zaun "distressed by the controversy [over ownership of him] and feeling there was no place he could fit in." I felt he fit more in Piltover where they are more conscious of the consequences of technology and he's already friends with the likes of Orianna, another sentient robot. But even then I was iffy.

I suppose you could plausibly put Blitz on a Zaun team. As you said, he is from Zaun.

I added Nocturne to Shadow Isles, I realized his lore says they first encountered him on Twisted Treeline and since he fits thematically I though "why not?"
