@Riot Champion unlocking?

It really seems frustrating to try and unlock all the champions you want, because of how long it takes to get the IP for them. So what if...

You get a token every once in a while. You use this token on a champion. You then get to use this champion either a) against other players who used tokens, or b) you get 3 games and if you win the majority(2/3 or 3/3) you unlock the champion.

This would reward players who really know how to play a champion.

Feedback would be nice :)

EDIT: So far so good! But if someone could please respond about the IP increase, that would be great.

EDIT 2: This isn't meant to be a charity service, just to help a bit with the sometimes overbearing IP costs of champions.

This has the potential of being abused. I can see it now:

"Hey let's team swap, we'll win 2/3 or 3/3 games all unlock our new champ, and then when we get another token we'll let you guys 5v5 us!"

Or:

"OH SWEET MOTHER OF ALL THAT'S HOLY I CAN'T CARRY TRASH PLAYERS, I KEEP LOSING TOKENS THIS IS STUPID I'LL NEVER GET A NEW CHAMP WITH SO MANY SCRUBS!"

It's an interesting idea, and since Riot does make a good chunk of money off of skins over champ purchases I do wish they would make it faster to farm IP for champs/runes instead of how it is now. Fine tune this a little more though I think you're on the right track!

I HIGHLY AGREE WITH THIS BECAUSE SOME LOL PLAYERS DONT PLAY AS MUCH AND DONT REALLY GET THE CHAMPIONS THEY WOULD PERFER.

You are implying that the only way riot makes money is from players using IP for champions, from what I see. There are plently of skins and other things which you can buy; and champions are one of many options.

On a side note, not everybody is an adult playing this (the classic "rage kid" who is terrible, blames others, just looks stupid in general" person can exist. Less games with a person like that can be good, but not the point.

RP is not solely for champions or IP boosts. Think about that before replying.

Ye since the champion count is over 100 Now i'd like them to implement a new way similar to yours so it'd be easy to get champions especially with all these new rune changes that are going to come which will eat a majority of players IP.

i am seeing people say. Increases IP generation in response. do people forget this is not a charity.

if you don't want to earn the champs then buy them and help riot pay the bills.

Riot has a great system now with teh free champs in stuff put plz put yorick in the free rotation
