Rengar rework feedback...

Earl Eulrich··4 votes·226 views

Well, there´s this nice new Community-Forum here and still the feedback-thread is made NA only. Really makes me sad from an EU point of View aswell as from the general point of view that you could get more diverse feedback here, where more people can contribute with experience from different regions (and, as it´s not too popular - you´d most likely get less unconstructive crying)...

But for the main topic:

I really really like the rework - finally there´s something you can do against just being blown up and his very binary "jump in - trade kills" pattern changed to him being a very reliable hardengage that relays on his team to bring some proper follow up (early captain boots really are very strong on him now). It just feels awesome to jump in and then fight with the knife between his teeth to keep the carry in place till everyone arives and proceed this till you´re dead or the opponent team is. Finally it doesn´t feel like playing a one-trick-warhorse, but more like you really play an interactive champion that requires some thought and mechanics.

So keep it up and don´t give in to people that just want to r-rightclick-faceroll.

Love the rework. Also, I will probably be down voted a billion times for saying this but I also like the Skarner rework.

I disagree this is one the worst reworks next to Skarner.

According to "http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Rengar"

Rengar is suppose to be :

Primary: Assassin Secondary: Fighter

I believe Riot no longer wants Assassin Rengar but, is no longer able to fill the assassin role, if he tries to dive a squishy they just live and run due to how buggy and clunky his new Q is.

If you are telling me that Rengar an assassin champion is suppose to be a Tank they the terribly failed he is no better then a Renekton or Irleia. His new reccomended items consists of Sunfire as an essential item.

Pros: 1) His trinket is now the bonetooth necklace

Cons: 1) Q no longer grants AS or hits towers for split pushing 2) His R the ult is the worst assassin ult by far. No longer grants MS to get to your targets and alerts them that you are coming. If they just remove one of these from the ult it would be some what decent and The ferocity stacking generation after leaving makes him have to stay longer in order to get off an Empowered Q for the lack of DPS that this new rework has.

TL:DR Basically assassin Rengar is dead (RIP in Peace) and he is now forced into being a tank. In other words he is now a worst version of R evolution / off tank Kha Zix, which is so sad.

I have to disagree here...you don´t need to build him too defensive, his w does a very good job in keeping him alive with just ~2major health items. And he still deals incredible dmg later on if you build dmg - just as you´d want a fighter to do. The main thing he offersthough for his team is a veryhard initiation to one target - if you ult with already 5stacks up you can use emp bola two times in a row on the target you jump onto, making sure your team catches up and kills it while you tank whatever comes at you.

So yea, assassin-rengar isn´t too strong anymore - but initiate/fighter rengar is still verystrong and a lot more healthy for the game.

DUDE his only job is supposed to be ASSASSIN. Thats where riot fked up Khazix, now Rengar. I think Riots trying to make them into Malphite. Hard to kill, very tanky yet can deal a lot of pain.

Hey scruffy, Is there anything you can do to his ult? It feels so....

i dont know, i played one match with the new rengar, i can live with the changes, but his ult feels horrible! how about moving the ferocity stacks back into the stealthed portion? maybe at least at a slow rate? he needs something.

Also I loved to play ap rengar, that may be another reason it feels horrible to me :(

Hate the rework. He's supposed to be an assassin.
