Let's talk about Leblanc.

What do you see in Leblanc? What makes her different from other champions, and what would you prefer her to be?

They are slating a rework, and what I can say about her is to keep her W and ult. Those two are really too much fun; mobility and trickery, which should(?) be her specialty. You guys?

Where'd you hear about a rework? Got a link to a post?

I'm not a lb player, but in my opinion, the biggest problem with lb is the silence on her Q in combination with the snare on her E removing a very large number of reactions to her opponent. If she were to be reworked to add additional counterplay to her kit, I'd want to see either her work a little harder to get those two stacked at the same time or the mechanic be changed to something else entirely (in my impression of playing like 2 games, the silence+snare combo wasn't that iconic).

Another question that might be helpful: what kind of weakness do you think you would be ok with adding to lb's kit if you had to? How should people play if they don't want to be killed by a lb?

I mained her (and Maokai) for a while because they're both so slippery. She's much better than other champions like Fizz and co. in that sense, since she has 4 low-cd displacement skills (back and forth), that don't require a target. Also, I like her chains, and her poke, and really just everything about her ... she can make so many great combo's and tho' her initial skill requirement is extremely low, her skill cap is also quite high.
I wonder why I stopped playing her ...

Maybe her main damage source (Q and Ult and dash <- risky version) just feels too boring, or her itemisation options are just too one-sided. You can only go AP, and there's really only the options Needlessly Large Rod-kit or CDR (with Morellonomicon as basis). Also, you can't really differ from her poke and "all-in"...

Still, I don't see why Riot would "rework" her. Her ult was changed a while ago and I fell that change put her in just the right spot. She's well balanced, has counters and glaring weaknesses while countering many others. So as long as you don't get bored with her, as I did, she should be just right for anyone who likes to think out of the box and try some combos and tricks.

I feel like her passive is completely useless.

LeBlanc's problem is that she's crazy hard to use for anyone worse than the pros. There's a reason she's got one of the lowest win rates across most MMRs. So any rework should probably try to reign in her potential while also making her power a little more accessible.

I like her passive and W a lot; they both fit the "deceiver" element of her identity really well. The ult is solid, and E is okay, but Q is kind of tangential to her identity. I don't think a silence is really something that belongs on her kit. I think that eats up a bit much of her power budget that could go towards more trickiness.
