Are you willing to pay 80 dollars for pretty lights? that's what you're doing with this. Plenty of way cheaper ones.
$100+ for a mechanical keyboard is pretty standard, and I'm assuming this has a similar performance/feel? I've never felt optical switches, so I have no idea how they feel. But if you want it, I see no reason why not.
The blue switch version is $9 cheaper on amazon though if you'd prefer a tactile bump.
