Let's stop with this "Press SHIFT for more info" bs on new releases

Like do I really need to press shift to know what Aatrox's W does double damage to minions?

The reason I'm look at the tooltip is because I need to know the more intricate details. The only thing this feature results in is clouding newer players from important details about a champion's kit.

Most the time it adds like one line

my favorite was like this, can't remember exactly who it was on

"This skill does an effect, and it can be stronger"

press shift for more

"This skill can do increased damage, due to an effect it has"

yeah would prefer this feature get removed and the tooltips simply be actual info dumps cause sometimes you look at a tooltip and start wondering if that's really all, then you press shift and it could either be nothing, one more line of text, or an exposition. and it's like really man just put that shit upfront for me.

Omg thanks, I wanted to make a thread about this. It's such a moot feature.

It's like the Bing-translate equivalent of telling me that Akali's first cast of her ultimate is a micro stun -> stuns enemies for exactly 0.25 seconds.

Like... why did you even bother calling it a micro-stun or just give me the 0.25 second stun information to begin with.

Meanwhile you get abilities like Kha'Zix or Shyvana that just outright tells you 'what it do'. No [Hold shift to see more info] needed.

Never tells me the important shit like ratios so I have to sit around buying a single longsword then doing division to figure it out then refund the fucking longsword and check with an amp tome

Doesn't look up the champion's values.

Proceeds to look to intricate details during the game.

Wants someone else to take responsibility.

All before reaching a mmr where that information becomes seriously important.
