I want a cat

Only adopt animals if you're prepared to take care of them until they die or at least for as long as you humanly can.
If you just want to cuddle and get your emotional fill with cute creatures and not actually that you want to do all the commitment for them, please stick to petting other people's animals or idk watch cute animal montage or something.
I can't stress enough that lives aren't toys. Taking an animal in means you treat them as your kin and take care of them as much as you can.
.......
For the record, I want a cat too. But I also know for a fact I can't put up with taking care of them day in and out.
So I stick to petting other people's cats whenever I get a chance.
=^.^=
there are volunteering to just socialize with animals at shelters and get them used to human contact if you want to overload on adorable floofness i would reccommend it
want me to find some local adoption agencies for ya?
Ahh I can relate to this so much. I lost my precious cat in 2017 due to cancer suddenly (She would've been 17 the next spring) and I've been without a cat ever since and I really really reallyyyy want a new kitten but sadly my rental doesnt allow cats. And my next rental my roommate is allergic to cats. Just my luck :/ Another year can't get a cat. Dogs are nice but cats you don't have to take out to go pee all the time. It's tough being petless.

I love catters, but I feel like I'm already barely able to take care of myself.
And people in my line of work need to be ready to up and relocate who knows where literally at a moment's notice. The thought of having a cat and then not being sure whether I'd be able to take it with me wherever I might have to go next is more terrifying than anything.
I know this isn't cat but here's a picture of a floofy dog to lighten the mood
I have a cat :^)
