Hashinshin proving Riven is idiot proof. (LOL RIVEN SKILL)

A.K.A. this is why low elo players should ignore what he says.

He claims Riven is no skill champions, the easiest champion in top lane, Riven players have no skill, Riven is the most broken champion, etc.

Then he plays Riven and gets humilated miserably. Gets solo killed multiple times, feeding his ass off, cannot win a sinlge lane, etc.

There are two possible explanation:

  1. He is 100% wrong, he has 0 clue what he is talking about all the time.
  2. He is right, Riven is no skill, no brain champion, easiest toplaner, etc. In this case he is soo fucking bad that noone should ever take seriously what he says.

Either way, people should stop listening to him and use him in arguments as some kind of validation for their own statements.

This is coming from someone who doesn't even play Riven. I just find it absurd how someone who doesn't have the slightest clue what he is talking about became such an influencer in LOL. I run into his name on boards all the time "hashinshin said this or that, so it is true". No, it isn't becauce he is 100% delusional.

It's true Hash isn't always correct but Riven has been known to be strong for the majority of her league career and ofc someone who has never played a champ is gonna suck ass on them. He's also a high elo player so he has some credability but most people don't listen to him anyways, hes just a meme.

Annnnnnnnnnnd, More Hashinhsin hate. He has never (As far as i know) said that Riven is 0 skill. he has said that she is not the Absurdly high-skill champ that most people think shes is. As he has said MULTIPLE TIMES, Most "Hard" champs have a gimmick that once you learn, improves your skill on the champ considerably. For Riven, thats Animation Canceling. This is obviously something that Hashinshin has not mastered yet. Ahd his points are compleatly valid. Why should Riven be able to ignore the basic rules of league of legends? Of course, these trash Riven mains on the boards will stand by thier Broken Champ. THe fact that Riven is still viable despite most bruisers being akin to troll picks should speak for itself.

Hashinshin is rarely correct, but that's just because of the foundation. Hashinshin is a very opinionated person. Also the video merely shows Hashinshins own personal issues. Not accounting for minions, not accounting for jungler, not accounting for 1v4ing.... Hash isn't necessarily wrong about Riven. Hashinshin has a point- Riven has been unreasonably strong for awhile. Has she needed nerfs? Maybe. But in terms of her position in the toplane meta, she's fine. She's a melee bruiser, so theoretically she's exactly the type of champion that Hashinshin wants to be good- Hash just doesn't know how to play against her.

Hash isn't a bad person. Hash isn't a bad player. Hash is opinionated, and wrong about a great many things.

Hashshinshin is a player who has existed as a Summoner for a very long time and at one time used to bring discussion topics to the older forums. Often, topics were of controversial nature, but ultimately had healthy discussion in the community. As time has progressed and the game has changed rapidly, his own views and play styles have unfortunately been unable to do so very well. As Hashinshin became a more prominent streamer these aspects seem to have set in even further.

I believe there is a very fine line of providing entertainment and providing educational entertainment, with the former being potentially destructive in nature to the viewers.

I also believe that within some reason, at times he still holds points of validity to some of his statements and opinions about League of Legends. I have only uncertainty in whether or not he is entirely serious when he speaks.
