The Honor rewards system needs to be more straightforward
Ever since the Honor System was reworked... (which I'm still salty about, tbh I feel more than one ally deserves recognition and enemies make the game a better experience than allies in some games, the old honoring made the community more cooperative and friendly) ...anyways... there has been discussion about tracking Honor Progress since the new Honor System started.
The Honor Rewards is cool (could've kept old honors and still made a rewards system but I'll stop sprinkling the salt just say "when").. but without knowing your progress makes the whole system seem non-existent. I've read that this is the point. That Riot wants to reward good behavior for the sake of good behavior, and not just incentivize good behavior through a "grind".
I've received the same notice about 'the first step to Honor lvl 2' a dozen times. I don't even know what I'm doing to LOSE progress. I'm not receiving Leaverbuster or Chat Restrictions. There's nothing there telling us what's happening to gain/lose honor.
There should be more notifications. If someone reports me enough to lose Honor, but not enough to get anything else- then there should be some kind of "Honor Progress Notification". Where it warns you "This behavior loses honor" then gives you chat logs or shows you what is losing honor. And to the other extent- it would be nice knowing what things to do to help get honor, like an Honor Recap- showing you "hey you were the most honorable player this game... you're on the right track, keeep it up Honor Lvl 4 is around the corner".
I'm just throwing out ideas. Obviously a progress bar is the most efficient way to track progress, but come on. How am I losing Honor?
