Glacial Augment: Righteous Glory and Randuin's Omen

The active effects of item 3143 and item 3800 do not proc the "icy ray" condition of Glacial Augment.

It's obvious why, of course. Considering these tank items create an AOE slow, it might seem unbalanced to let them proc the "icy ray" effect.

But, I think they should.

How it could work: the "icy ray" is shot through a prioritized target.

  • Champions with lower % Health remaining take priority over other champions.
  • Champions take priority over minions and monsters.
  • Minions are prioritized by Health % remaining.
  • Monsters are prioritized by "rank".

Yes- I know tanks are already in a good spot. But isn't the real concern with the Aftershock from the Resolve page? Glacial Augment is from the Inspiration page, and so I don't think this would create balancing issues.

randuins does proc it doe. especially on minions, it looks fukin weird you just make huge icy zone, so dunno where you tested this out but you're clearly mistaken, not sure about righteous glory though

They both proc it, I actually tested this last night. I'm not 100% sure about righteous glory (I know it can proc at least 1 ice ray zone) but randuins can definitely proc multiple ice rays for each target it hits. The hextech GLP also can apply the laser to multiple targets.

Your suggestion would actually be a nerf to current functionality, haha

Yes, they do proc it. Both them, actually.

I honestly feel like it should work on all item slows, not just actives

item 3116 item 3742 item 3022 item 3025

Maybe lower the icy zone slow a significant amount since every auto or rylie's proc making a 50% slow field would be a tiny bit too much.
