Is Fiora worth playing these days?

I've been playing Fiora for a few days now.

And honestly, contrary to all the hype about her she seems to me only a inferior version of Yasuo who tries too hard to be relevant.

For one, it takes tons of practice with Fiora in order to get good with her (Which also holds true with any other champion).

Second, for a supposed tank killer with 'true damage', she fails to do much against the biggest top lane bullies. Try using her against Darius, Urgot, mid game Nasus, or any of the characters you would actually wanna counter top lane and she doesn't hold a chance of going toe to toe with them what with the incredibly high cooldown time on her W and her taking ages before she gets fed and can start dealing decent damage.

And lastly - I can't think of a single thing which Fiora does which Yasuo doesn't do better.

Dashes - Check. Damage evasion (Reposte/Windwall) - Check. True damage - Check (While they use different methods to deal true damage, Fiora's vitals are awkwardly placed and her ultimate makes it nearly impossible to target juggernauts such as Urgot, Darius, or even Garen unless against a complete noob.)

I've tried practicing her for a while, but she honestly doesn't seem worth the time.

I usually build Tiamat, and then either rush to build Triforce or in case I require outright firepower proceed to build Ravenous Hydra. But despite that, Fiora is a character who is easily pushed under her tower, and in an event where the vitals appear behind or on the side of the opponents immediately becomes much less of a threat which encourages most juggernauts / tanks to hog CS while she tries to walk it off.

I may not be the best Fiora player out there but I haven't also come across as many good Fiora players as I have good current Katarina or Zed players, or <name any other high difficulty high reward character>. Fiora seems to me like a high difficulty, low reward character right now. Unless you're very good at her, in which case you'd still be better off playing a skirmisher such as Yasuo, Jax instead.

I strongly believe Riot needs to rework Fiora from the ground up to get her out of her niche and make her a better tank killer. Perhaps even rework that ultimate which currently relies on how inexperienced her opponents are and not around how mobile the character herself is. I don't see a single way in which they can reasonably buff her without turning her current character an overpowered mess.

Do you like the soft touch of your keyboard on your face? If so, she is really worth playing, face rolling for 20 min stright till they ff hmm so fun.

About the Yasuo comparison, I don't play Fiora that much but I did play yasuo a lot, I think her trades are much easier/safer and she is having easier time vs other melees

If you are searching for a champion to learn, Camille is really fun, for me at least, and her roams/ganks are effective

I don't think so. She has no team fight presence other than counter one cc, and she gets blown up instantly. To do damage, she has to competely get the enemy to hit vitals, which is difficult when people use their mobilty to kite you out. Even ult procing all 4 vitals will only do about 30% of their hp and that's hard to do.

So no, I don't think shes worth it.

190k xp on her though
