Was this a normal game?

If so the answer is simple. Plat is ranked, ranked has a different MMR than normals. If you do not play normals except once in a while.... you are with the other average mmr people in normals which starts out in about bronze area.

not sure about that, but then judging by his gameplay he really didn't seem like a plat 3 that's all. even his duo partner master yi which was in bronze seemed to be better. But then again, Master yi is literally right click.
