Neeko (Does not yet have an icon) has five lines directed at nidalee, four of which indicate that of love/longing for her. They have already had some sort of interactions, and this isn't just her "crushing" on an unknowing Nidalee.
She's one , JUST one line that people draw forth assumptions from stating she automatically has a crush on Nami, all because she asked if she was...Nice?
One line with 
(And again, in comparison to some of the overly sappy shit I've only quoted other champions saying, this shouldn't even be that big a deal)
"Does dragon lady want to eat lunch with Neeko sometime? Maybe?"
There's about 13 paragraphs in her story, one of which isn't blunt, "down your throat, or even as bad as:
"Hi, honey! Is it too soon to call you honey? It's too soon."
It's as simple as: "Strong, beautiful woman" "Friendship blossomed" "Refused to go with Neeko on her journey."
Summing up the minimal attention to her sexuality as being minute compared to the rest of her story any of you showing disdain towards seemed to somehow either forget to read, or are just jumping in the band-wagon of salty/toxic players posting stupid discussions on the matter.
If your argument is that:
"It's because she's gay, and that's all she has to offer, like there's nothing else important about her."

Even if her being gay was the "centerpiece to all that made her the champion she is in league" (Which sounds a bit idiotic to those of you who believe it is)

If her few lines of interest had been directed towards a dude, and even more than few, but a paragraph, the boards would only be flooded with:
"Neeko's Broken OMG Riot plz nerf"
If her in-game quotes had been as sappy as  or plentiful as the two love birds, and were directed at a male champion, there would literally be no change, as there are hardly if not, any posts/discussions raising negativity towards said topics, rather their actual game-play is always being brought up.

TL;DR:
Stop posting things about a single champ without first getting your information on the other 141 champions.
You'll soon realize that the only difference from Neeko to        is that she's a lesbian (confirmed). Get over it.
