How champions are adjusted for patches

This is probably going to get removed, but hopefully people see this before it gets to that.

These are the steps to how a champion is nerfed/buffed.

Step 1: Meeting Day The department within riot that deals with balance gets together on meeting day with a list of all the champions that the player base is currently having issues with; furthermore, Mason keeps trying to cover for people on doughnut shift (each meeting day, one member of the team is supposed to bring doughnuts in, and it goes down a list).

Step 2: League of Legends Current Standing Before changes are discussed. the state of the game is addressed, the number of players as well as fluctuation in said numbers, the higher ups preposterous expectations, etc.

Step 3: FIX Presentation They look at the statistics of each individual champion that has been flagged as "FIX" on a projector through Powerpoint. Each champion has their respective set of slides containing information such as: How long an issue has existed How many players use said champion Most recent fixes such as bugs, buffs, and nerfs. Possible issues that may spring up from the adjustments to said champ that affect game play

Step 4: Old Spaghetti The team brain-storms ideas as to how to fix problem "A through D" without causing problems "Y and Z."

Step 5: Decision Time After all the issues are addressed, and the champions that appeared on the presentation were deemed "Good-to-go", Jennifer rolls out the "Wheel of Runeterra" for the final, and biggest step.

step 6: A call is made... Riot brings in a PDP, or a "Professional Dart Player", who's only task is to hit the assigned spots on the pie chart. The first chart is for buffs champions need. How much of the pie chart a champion takes up is decided on factors discussed in steps 2, and 3. The PDP only sees colors that have been assigned to the champion, as not to distract the PDP with pictures, or influence the PDP's aim based off of which splash art the PDP likes more. Three darts are given to the individual.

For each champion that was initially discussed in the meeting that he/she hits, a dart is refunded. The wheel is spun slower, and then faster each time an assigned target is successfully hit. a handful of "Honorably Mentioned" champions also fill the chart, and fill spots between the crevice of bigger targets. A second chart is then placed onto the wheel for nerfs, and the process is repeated.

Step 7: Private Sandbox The results are documented, and handed down to the "hands on" portion of the team. They implement the adjustments, and changes on a closed server, run tests to see the affects it has on the game, and decide on whether or not they are good. This is only the first part of the balance teams job. The next task is a series of steps that involves item changes...

Step 8: Community Taste Test Once both Champions, and Items are adjusted, they are released to a server closed off from the rest of the community for testing among players. By this point, those adjustments are mostly given the green light on being implemented into the game, only to see slight adjustments in numbers, as well as any other hot-fixes on bugs.

Step 9: Santa's List The changes are placed into the finalized patch notes for the player base to see, alongside all other implementations into the game such as skins.

Final Step: Player Base Crit We the community see said changes, and wonder why Urgot was neutered, and Zed was given a power-stick.

The issue isn't riot ignoring us. The issue is their method of fixing the game.
