I just sat down, opened LoL, thought about how frustrating it will probably be and closed it.

I used to look forward to playing LoL. Now I worry about how I'm going to feel when I'm done playing. Losing feels so terrible and winning is a frustrating process more often than not.

Ugh, even reflecting on my experiences for the purposes of making this post is making me feel terrible.

How did we come to this?

Same

Wake up in the morning, think to myself "alright, I set my alarm earlier so I can play some league before work, maybe some LP earned" then login and realize.. "actually I don't want to coinflip how the rest of my day will be"

I'm starting to play some other games to help offer me variety.

Its called burnout, happens to EVERY game, and it has nothing to with what you think is wrong with league atm. Name one game in your life you have played joyfully as long as LoL. You guys confuse your general boredom of doing the same thing every single day for years as somehow they have ruined what you find fun. Thats not it. You are just burned out, my friend.

Every game, damn near every activity, this happens. Problem is playing something like league is so addicting, you cannot remove yourself from it, so it just turns to hate and frustration.
