I'm a JG main for 10 years now. I want to have a choice on how I play jungle, but I really don't have one. Remember the trinity of ganking-utility-farming in the jungle and how they all had different strenghts in ranked solo que? Those were the good days. Now I am trying my hardest not to play elise/lee sin/reksai/olaf because I never play what's meta (it's a personality thing), but now that feels so punishing.

Nah, jungle died in Season 9 man. RIP Jungle 2019. But it was on the decline for some time before that.
We're just trying to figure out if it has hit rock bottom yet.

I mean, I had jungle as my primary role for 3 years, and now when I get jungle I just go for AP Shyvana. I farm up, and hope that my team wont hard feed till I get lvl 6. Most of the time I just get flamed and spam pinged why I am not perma sitting some lane. The Holy Trinity of this game is dead for years now. Look at some champs - Zoe - mega broken and unfun to play againt. High mobility, high dmg, and utility. Free item actives and summoner spells?! I mean like? I want my champs to get such things as well
There is no farming junglers , jungle is meant as a gank role , otherwise there is no point of the role
I keep getting junglers who have shit decision making and obviously can't pick a right time to gank vs farm. Half my problems would disappear if farming became more rewarding because then I wouldn't have to try and carry a deadweight afk farming jungler every match.

I haven't played ranked in years because jungle has been in a slow decline. I mained Sejuani and Shyvana, where Shyvana used to be the master of farming up to 6, being able to secure dragon at level 3 or 4, etc. The meta has slowly shifted away from the farming intensive up to 6 then gank gank gank, and I enjoyed the role less and less. ARAM ftw. At least if the game is a total stomp it's due to being outcomped or being surrounded by idiots/bots in the first 7 minutes, and it's over quickly. I see more entertaining, close games in ARAM than I have in norms this season so far.
