ROFL. GD "wardens" forcing us to move from our old, hidden boards so we can go onto the front page..

And now they are going to disable voting on most threads that will make it to the front page?

Are you fucking kidding me? Quit with this "I'm a warden hurr durr I know better than you" fucking BULLSHIT. Suck a fucking dick and get off that high horse already god damn it.

We didn't ASK to move, but the ONLY benefit that you offered in exchange for our private community and additional freedom (politics, social issues) was the ABILITY to shitpost to the front page, but as soon as that happened, Oh NOooo, something off color MIGHT actually be seen as a RESULT of you doing something we didn't fucking want in the first place, while we're also getting a shitty talking-to by mods via stickies like we're an unwelcome new ex in an old relationship.

If we're going to stay on a public board and be more restricted on what we CAN talk about (social issues, politics) then you need to fuck off and let votes and our threads be treated NO DIFFERENTLY than ANY. OTHER. BOARD, if it's ALLOWED here it should be ALLOWED to reach the front page with zero artificial manipulation by cucked wardens. I want to see my upvotes rise or fall based off my posts' merit, I don't want my thread groped by your heathen uncultured hands.

Edit 6:20am 8/17/2017 - didn't kick in at first but it is because we (GD) own the "hot" categorizing on topics being viewed as well as "new" and a few people got thier knickers knackered that they couldn't easily find "nerf adcs topic 1074#" or "ahri needs whiskers on her SG skin 19986.56#"

i still feel like there needs to be an option when posting in gd where its just on the side when u post asking you if its league based or just random things and then people can toggle if they want to see everything from gd on the front page or just league related stuff

I got one of my posts removed by a mod/warden in it i've asked a girl if she sent nudes before among other things (past tense).

the amusing part is that the person I was talking to answered and didn't feel offended. The mods however did, omg, i'm laughing so hard.

TBF though, A lot of the topics that do have removed voting are usually ones that tread close to a few rules, A good example was the Thigh one.

I'm by far not trying to justify the move, But just saying, For the public, There's some things that dont need to be seen outside of GD.

I wish old GD stayed. I updated my bookmark but for some reason Firefox hates it and refuses to show my bookmark in "recently visited" so if I open Firefox, type, "GD" in the address bar, hit down+enter, it'll load old GD because that was more visited than the more recent bookmarking of current GD. Absolute cancer for me to visit here

Easy solution, get new wardens. About half of the GD Wardens currently are terrible. They are supposed to be unbiased moderators but delete anything they don't agree with. I can think of a particular warden that is terrible about this but I am not going to name any names.

There are only a handful of wardens I actually respect. The rest can walk through a field of Teemo Shrooms for all I care.

Always be respectful to players, community members, Moderators, and Rioters. Joking with friends and playful teasing will not be removed. Flaming and insults specifically targeting someone is still against the rules and will be deleted. If the targeted player asks to stop, it is not considered a joke anymore and action will be taken as appropriate.
