If you take away Lee Sin's ward hopping ability, you will need to give him something in return.
Lee Sin isn't extremely good right now, nerfing his ult AND the ward hop would definitely nerf him to near azir level, and that shouldn't happen.
Azir was put down there because he was SO OPPRESSIVE he couldn't even be faced in a NERFED STATE.
Lee Sin shouldn't be put down there just because you are sick of him.
If you take away Lee Sin's ward hopping, expect there to be buffs in the rest of his kit

for example: Ivern is straight up busted right now, but has a lower playrate. Lee Sin is not busted, just relatively strong. and he is being played all the time.
People play this game for fun. Sure we love to win and we're all serious but there are very few jungle champions as fun as Lee Sin. Hell he may be the MOST fun jungler out there come to think of it.
I'm tired of Lee too, just like I'm tired of Lucian, Yasuo, Ahri, Ezreal, and Thresh...but there's a reason champs are popular. just gotta accept it.
Ulquiorra9956 votesI really don't know. That argument might have been passable for, say, 15-25% pickrate, but 40? Is Lee that much more fun than other 130 champions? Does Riot suck at champion design so much that they can't make a champion at least equally fun as Lee in more than a hundred attempts?
Back in Cinderhulk meta Lee sported around 18% pickrate for a few patches. Less than half of current pickrate. He didn't receive significant kit changes which made him more fun since then. Riot simply nerfed his competitors and buffed him back to #1 spot. That's more than half of his playerbase not playing him because he's fun but because he's undisputed king of the jungle.
Take Lucian as another example - another champion you mentioned. Lucian is fun to play and flashy champion, same as Lee. He has strong early game during which he can build a sizeable lead for himself if played properly, same as Lee - yet he only started seeing this much play after BoTRK changes, before which he was under 10% pickrate. Again, BoTRK changes didn't magically make him more fun - they just made him busted enough to be picked in almost half of all games.

I don't think that is a valid reason to 'take him out the spot light'. He's not opressive and can be out played and countered so why the hate for him? His popularity goes up quite a bit the further you go up in elo but his winrate is still ~50 percent? Why don't you have this kind of hatred for ivern? Is it because he's not as popular? Because he has a 55+ winrate from gold up. Have you ever considered that the reason that people play lee is not because he's strong but because they just genuinly like the champion?

So why aren't you saying anything about them? Is it because no one else is? I don't understand what you want riot to actually fix. He's not strong. He's just popular. They nerfed him a few patches ago but his winrate steadily rose so its definately not his strength that's the problem. I think it's just that people like playing him. And nerfing him soley on that is kinda unfair for the people who like to play him.
Just to clarify I'm not salty or anything. Never played Lee Sin in my life. I just genuinly want to know the answers to the questions I asked and what is you end game? Jungle isn't a very diverse role (well it's more diverse than bot anyways) but if Lee get's nerfed isn't someone else just going to dominate? Are you sure what you're asking for is balance and not self satisfaction? Well I wouldn't say self satisfaction because I don't think even have of the people who 'hate' Lee Sin would do so if everyone else didn't. So, yeah. I've said alot, sorry (^_^').
