I don't understand how can you think it's fair , to give us back only 100 ip per rune. When i bought those runes ,it did not had a timer on them, saying that in 2017 you will replace them, and give us litteraly shit. I bought them knowing it will last forever.

I understand the game is changing, and you made the runes free, which is great, but, from an economic point of view, players who already had runes , players who played this game for some years, are getting a bit fcked.. we lose on our initial investment because of this:|. Better said, new players get alot more than we do, and it comes at our expense...(in Riot eyes : "we lose money if we give you back your initial investment, so suck it up, be a bro"..you forgot to mention, you also make money, because you made the game more appealing to new players;)

And the worse part is that, you are actually direspectfull towards your older (season 4 ) player base..What do you mean 100 ip/rune..do you not know that there are different prices for runes?? where is the fairness here?? Basicly, someone who has invested the same amount of ip as me, but, decided to buy cheaper runes, will get more ip than me..Are you fcking serious??

Now, i understand that there players, maybe Riot accounts, that try to inform you that, because we used those runes, we actually got something in return for it. there are 2 things here that contradict that first- we had to buy them..we could not play the game withouht those runes..WE HAD to Buy them second- when we bought those runes, it did not say we rent them..they were sold for a price..and we invested time into getting them

you bought them knowing that they will last until riot A. got rid of runes or B. stopped being a game.

Why do you keep acting like you played this game for IP or Runes? Your time was spent enjoying the game, and your IP spent too be more effective at it than those who didn't. You got what you paid for, now you're being paid to take something better instead.

So what if you lost IP in the IP sink? You knew that was what it was when you started.

If there has to be a comparison made to the real world, it's to a car dealership that will trade in cars for a few hundred dollars, no matter their condition. You used your Runes for many years, but they're dying now. The dealership isn't going to pay top dollar for a car that doesn't run any more, no matter how much you paid for it when it was new.

So, if I'm a merchant and people pay me one time for a service with no actual set lifespan at that time and they can use whenever. They use that service to the fullest until I say that things are changing and that specific service will be no more. Do I then have to refund those customer's all the money they spent for my service?

Except you gotta remember that they would have Eventually reworked the Rune system.

No one knew when it would come until it was announced

And no, Its not fair, But guess what, It wont matter once it's done.
