How To jungle
This thread is adressed to everybody, my hope is to make you see how the jungle role works.
I main jungle from season 4, finished in diamond S5. Currently i am in plat 2 i think:)
What is the jungler role in the game?
It's really easy, all he has to do is pressure the map and relieve pressure from the enemy jungler.This is his role..
How to gank.
It's not hard, you just go in, walk in front of them, save your cc for the moment they flash(predict the flash) etc.The thing that most junglers don;t do, is this. After a succesfull gank, they dont help the laner push the wave.This helps both of them, they deny the enemy farm and they share xp(which helps the jungler).
Blaming the jungler because you are camped by the enemy jungler.
Well, if you are camped, you are probably an easy kill.It's not my fault as a jungler.My fault is if i don;t take advantage of knowing where the enemy jungler is.I can take dragon, take his jungle, gank other lanes etc. This will be my fault.But if you die, it's your own fault, not mine.Had plenty of games where people blamed me bcs they lost lane.
What champion does your jungler play?
Believe it or not, this has a huge impact on all the lanes. Compare WW,Diana with shaco,elise. WW and Diana have 0 gank potential early, knowing this, the enemy can harras you under tower and play really aggro.If you play this kind of junglers, your team needs to understand that they need to play safe early, and that they will be abused like hell in lane.Why? Bcs this junglers have a really bad early game,but dominate later. Shaco and elise.This junglers are really strong with huge impact early.Solo laners need to play safe, knowing that this champion can gank really easy.
Junglers dictate the game.This is true. A good jungler, will read your every move and know where the enemy jungler will be most of the time, he will punish you really hard if you show yourself,if he has vision of you, he will apply pressure this way, making your teammates play safe or riks a free gank.A dominating jungler will make the enemy team tilt:)
This is what i wanted to say.The jungle role is to put pressure on the map.Pressure comes from invading the enemy jungle, killing him, ganking,taking dragons,pushing waves and assisting his team take towers, being there at the right time.This is what pressure is. Ganks from junglers, doesn;t always result in a kill, but if he gets low the enemy, makes him blow summoners, force him to go back etc. it's a succesfull gank:).. For example ganking an Ahri post 6.If you manage to blow her ulti, it's a succesfull gank, why? bcs she has no kill potential for the next 1-2 min. and your laner still has ulti and kill potential on her.
How to relieve pressure from the enemy jungler
some junglers bcs of their kit, have huge impact early. Evelynn and shaco..wards don;t work agaist them, so this means, they can be everywhere. There are a few things you can do do relieve the pressure from this champs.
- countergank-look at your lanes and see who comes back later in lane.(most of the them start bot bcs of the leash) knowing where they started, it's great, you can set up a countergank..they can gank either mid or top:) 2.If they manage to gank and get a kill, the moment they show themself on the map, you need to counterjungler him,take everything, and maybe gank someone and ward their jungle 3.Try to find them in the jungle, atleast you have some info where they are.;).most junglers should beat them in a 1 vs 1 su=ituation 4.try to cheese them, Eve for example, has a bad clear early, take advantage of this, and cheese her;) get a level 2 invade;).Vs shaco,it's kind of hard, they usually run ignite,so 1 vs 1 it;s hard.But,they don;t scale well into late game).Take advantage of this, if they don't have a kill and farm, they will fall behind I gave this 2 guys as example,bcs they have huge pressure early;)
TLDR.Junglers need to pressure the map and relieve pressure from the enemy jungler;)
