Maybe give us an Uncorrupted SG Variant for Xayah, Zoe, and Rakan?

Okay, hear me out.....

I know people are going to rage and act like it's them getting two skins, and i get that, but these SG skins as-is, minus neeko, look and feel like Dark Star or Cosmic 2.0 skins. The colors are so not Star Guardian, and it's kinda sad.

So what if you guys introduce a new type of chroma, where we can chooe between the corrupted version or the uncorrupted version!? The corrupted versions should remain the base skins at the base price, but the Variants would cost a lot less than the skin, but a little more than a normal chroma?

The reason I say MORE than a normal chroma is because I'd want the variants to CHANGE THE VFX TOO! The VFX are so dark and dark star/cosmic-ish....that's a major part of what I'd want changed with a uncorrupted version, so it would make sense for it to be a little more than a normal chroma. Maybe twice the amount? Or like 500?

Just an idea, something that would make me like the rest of them as much as I like Neekos! <3

It won't happen. They haven't even been making minor skin adjustments, let alone sending an entire fleet of skins back to the drawing board.

Apparently what I’ve been reading (at least for xayah and Rakan) they toyed with the idea of making a toggle for their forms but felt it didn’t fit the voice lines... I’m super disappointed if we’re being honest.

The glimpse you get of xayah’s non corrupted form is absolutely gorgeous but I wish it would stay. These champs already have cosmic skins. These don’t match star guardian at all.

These guys are trying to be creative by messing with well stablished skinlines. But we like specific skin lines because of their special features. If you wanna be original try new skinlines instead of cutting edges. Putting originality by changing the essence of already liked skin lines is gonna kill them and alsi doesnt seem profitable at all

Better idea. Make them a new skin line since they're too corrupted to be Star Guardians.

"Void Guardians" is my first choice.

Then we could release Star Guardian variants later from before they were corrupted by whatever.

Next day

We hear our community about how much they want uncorrupted star guardian rakan and xayah. So we have come up with a solution called "purity skins", to acquire the 'purity' starguardians one must first buy a new event pass.

This pass will allow a person to buy and consume 'little legends' to purify their preferred star guardian with fluffyness. To ensure that players feel a sense of accomplishment the other purity guardian can only be received by purchasing all golden chromas prestige skins released in the last year.

Personally, I was thinking they could pull a PF Caitlyn here and give slight model changes at level 6. The first 5 levels, you are corrupted but when Xayah and Rakan learn their ultimate they are cleansed of the corruption (cause apparently they are both legendary).

I, personally, support the idea of a variant skin in THIS instance. I love the idea of SG Xayah and Rakan (and their SG forms are beautiful).

SG were loved because they were cute. We have too many edgy dark skins already. They have SG Syndra's pallete and I hardly see her in game: She and sg poppy keep appearing at high discountS in the shop, unlike other sg who apper with really low discount or dont appear with discounts never: most of us didnt like a dark SG nor that palette from before. And now they gave us 3 freaking purple dark SG. Seriously how disconnected from bussines must you be.

judging by what xayah looks like in her recall an uncorrupted version could be absolutely breahtaking. theres also the potential for different recall animations of rakan + xayah depending on if theyre both corrupted or only one is

Oh! Right, something I forgot. I do think that Riot would make these skin chroma things you are suggesting. They did change the vfx of MF's recall with her K.O. chroma, and they gave that out for free (the tv is a different color, this was not something done by her other chromas). So, I don't think a secondary set of vfx should be too out of the box for them to consider.

I think the variant idea would be satisfactory. Honestly I don't even care about the particles. change the color pallette to uncorrupted, if feeling ambitious get the voice lines too. I would instabuy the variants.

At the very least I hope for an uncorrupted chroma. But I would really prefer a variant ala Eclipse leona because that changes the particles and skin colors. not voice, but i can understand that would be hard.

Star Guardian is my favorite skin line, up there with Project and Pool Party for my top 3. This has been a disappointing reveal. Not only is it missing 1 skin compared to the past years, its also 3/4 corrupted. Maybe I'll just get Neeko.

That should make it easier to keep the toggle, if they already considered it.

This is exactly what I said earlier, here in one of the last paragraphs
It would fix all the issues people have with it while still letting those who do enjoy these darker, corrupted Star Guardians have a version they like. And it won't be throwing away anyone's hard work

Would be hard to do since they're both legendaries. Since legendaries get more than the usual amount of visual work put into their abilities it would be quite an undertaking to make ones for uncorrupted versions. The voice lines would also not match very well either. While a neat idea maybe, I think people would rather they put those resources into other skins instead of creating 4 legendaries for Xayah and Rakan.
