What is the difference between High Silver and Diamond games

If a diamond smurf were to play in silver they would do exceptionally well, but in a case where the skill level is equal (diamonds vs. diamonds) compared to (silver vs. silver) how different is the actual game, because from watching high elo streamers, the games look very similar to my silver games.

the games may look similar to you because diamond players are both much better at capitalizing on mistakes and also do far less mistakes

Improved macro play and slightly better mechanics.

That's really it.

Teamcomps Macro play Mechanics Creep farming And ofcoarse other small nit-pick bullshit.

But generally, If you were to be tossed into a diamond game, You'd know the difference.

The games don't really look similar at all. There is far less kills, far more warding, far more objective taking, far more grouping.

Honestly it's really subtle sometimes. I can't really describe it but there's a clear difference. What just "looks" like normal play to the untrained eye, my support and I can pin as "bad" play and start abusing this player unless they get babysat by a teammate. The scary thing is that it isn't as night and day like a game like overwatch where you can really see the bad mechanical play. Understanding zones of threat, pressure, cs'ing, teamfight positioning, initiations, rotations, and overall decisionmaking are core abilities that you can learn to be a better player but they aren't obvious to see unless you already know what to look for.

Pretty easy to tell the difference IMO. Can usually tell right away when someone is smurfing in plat elo from high diamond. It's why diamond players ends up with like a 95% WR in low elos. They contribute that much of an advantage for your team. Theres a huge dif.
