More kayle updates! [Kayle Fetish Post]

So I've discovered a number of matchups that kayle is actually pretty good into, despite early thoughts on the matter.

Some notable ones for right now and eventually I'll get to a full on post rework Kayle gameplay guide I guess.

Vladimir : Kayle is actually great into Vlad lanes. Vlad has a pretty weak early game and you can time your e poke to hit right after transfusion, negating a pretty big chunk of his sustain. If you can land a q>e combo he actually loses the trade when his aoe doesn't connect due to being behind minions or it being on cooldown. Combined with your own built in sustain and corrupting pot you can actually have priority in this lane early on in the game and sustain through it just as well as Vlad does or better. You also scale with Vlad over the course of the game and outright win side lane 1v1 against him at 3 and 4 items.

Irelia : If irelia doesn't start with her stun all in her at level 1 with corrupting pot and time warp tonic. Even if she has ignite and you have TP you win this all in super hard with an e ability start. Easy cheese for first blood. Be careful from level 3 until level 11 though as the matchup favors her trading power until you get ranged auto attacks. It's pretty easy to play around her all ins however in this time frame and you basically get a passive farm lane where the irelia gets first shove and rotation, so be sure to ward and ping mia when she tries to roam. At 3 items she basically can't enter lane versus you alone, enjoy your time taking turrets.

Zed : Provided you can dodge qs and properly time your self ult for right after he comes out of his ult there isn't a single point in time where this lane favors zed. He does have first shove and priority prior to level 11 though, so he's going to roam and look for easier targets. Ward up and communicate his movements so you can grab plates and build an income advantage.

Jax : Eventually he outscales you in the isolated 1v1, but as long as you are poking effectively and not allowing him to all in you early on in the lane (his jump range is similar to your auto, you can bait his cooldowns by walking up for an e poke into w retreat and q cast to win trades and then all in him when counterstrike times out) this is a fairly easy lane. Whatever you do absolutely do not push this lane into his turret. Force him to push into yours or you'll be easy prey for ganks. With minion dematerializer it's easy to secure a freeze right outside your tower. Make use of this tactic to put the jax player in a bad position and feed your jungler free gold.

A couple of horrendous matchups.

Yasuo Azir : Avoid these matchups at all costs. You cannot play Kayle into these champions and even if they aren't directly your lane opponent they have kits that completely negate your play style as kayle in later game stages. Use your bans on this stuff.

You can add Akali to the list of actually favorable matchups. You only lose advantage of the lane post 6 and pre 11 and at 3 items she also cannot enter lane vs kayle.
