So uh... about Sylas...

Can we give him some relevant mana costs for his abilities now? I wanted to give it time to find out what it was about this champ that I found most annoying and troublesome and at this point with a few months of play I've decided this is really what aggravates me the most.

In jungle he gets a blue buff to open anyways and this style of Sylas has never been one that bugged me as much.

But in lane he's kinda ridiculous to clear against because he just mad spams abilities the whole time trading and clearing and never runs oom even without a blue buff. It reminds me of LeBlanc back in like season 4 and 5 where she was just spamming everything in her kit from the moment she got into lane and never went oom while clearing and trading endlessly until she went to roam with still 50%+ mana.

Let's at least make Sylas make some decisions about when to use his abilities rather than just "Is it off cooldown? Yes? Use it."

Sylas feels like he is always playing URF, with lane sustain =/. Its pretty toxic to play against.

Sylas already got kneecapped in this patch

TBH mana costs could be a good tuning lever but this guy is honestly hard to balance as long as his Q is both viable waveclear and W gives Vladimir level sustain

The damage and heal has been nerfed a lot already so he probably needs reasonable cds/mana costs to be viable. But then again with his R his strength is very variable based on team comps. Making it so he needs to buy a mage item to viably spam could work.

Fix Zed and other energy champs while we're at it. Bullshit waveclear and trading spam while all the mana users either get pushed out of lane to recover mana to match these champs' wavepush.

Zed in particular is disgusting with his scaling, getting both great waveclear with a quickly refilling resource while also being one of the strongest 1v1 champs in the game and being essentially an AD mage with all the perks of an assassin in burst.

Sylas is as bad as aatrox now though

Have you ever actually played Sylas? He does the same thing every other mage that builds a bunch of mana does. He is also extremely mana hungry. Going in is never "always the best option" - especially with the current patch, missing his Q is a death sentence and chances are he won't actually be good until post level 9 due to the massive dash/shield nerf, similar to Urgot.

Frankly, if you're going to complain about Sylas' waveclear you really ought to mention abominations like Zoe as well.

I'm pretty sure he has a low mana pool and runs out of it so fast

I've never had a problem with sylas in lane. I play veigar, who is a worse matchup (i guess?) Never lost lane against sylas.

Relevant mana costs?

In 2019?

Are you kidding me?

Even if they nerfed his mana regen and up his mana costs it would not matter since biscuit and corrupt potion exist.
